Legit had to clean my screen and glasses to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

or maybe detailing? :P

My thoughts exactly, but with more words.

You should be able to find at least highlights on YouTube, since they stream the races live there now. You missed a good one. St. Pete and Long Beach were snoozers and NOLA was a washout, but on a proper track these cars put on a helluva race.

Its on YouTube. I’m having a hard time getting a link in here. Search 2015 GP of Alabama.

the only problem I see here is that he missed her with the hose....

boeing 2707.

The De Havilland Comet. It would’ve been a great initial foray into passenger jet operations were it not for its tendency to self-destruct at altitude, due to engineers not realizing its large square windows would lead to metal fatigue.

XB-70.

I’m still hoping that the super secret engine program is an engine package for indycar. That series needs a good shot in the arm and I ‘m sure Audi would love the chance to win Le Man and the Brickyard.

“Let he who hast attended multiple track days and not spun out cast the first lugnut.” From “ “St. Mario’s letters to the corner workers,” Chapter 11, verse 5.

Saturn Sky Redline/Pontiac Solstice GXP

The BMW Z8. I saw this one yesterday, and given its rarity, astonishing beauty, and BMWs prowess for making “the ultimate driving machine”, this should’ve been one of the all-time great sports cars. Instead, it was too loose and floppy to be a corner carver, and too rigid and aggressive to be a GT cruiser.

The problem with the California regs is that they mandate both the means (CARB-approved everything) AND the ends (actual tailpipe emissions, either as measured at a test station or reported by the car itself).

I always hate this BS that old people throw around. EVERYONE is on a fixed income. Just because I work doesn’t mean I get a salary of unlimited funds. Even taking retirement payouts old people can do what the rest of us do, set a little bit aside from each paycheck until they have enough money to buy what they want.

It's way more hatchback than SUV, at least as a guy who spends most of his time in BOF trucks.

Nah. But it's the most comfortable I've ever been in any car.

I dated a girl for a few years who was the absolute worst for this. We had full-scale fights because she reached across to honk the horn while I was driving, and one because I didn’t honk when she thought I should have. Oh I am soooo sorry that I prioritized getting us out of a dangerous situation, over making noise
