My top 10, in no particular order.

If you recall your history, German engineers were pretty good at making rockets.

Approximately 18,561,774.336 furlongs per fortnight.

It's too bad this is in Europe. I'd be genuinely interested in some of those parts for an EV conversion I've been pondering. But shipping all that heavy stuff to Iowa would cost a fortune.

Have you missed the last 3 years? Everything is more expensive than it should be.

Comparing a decal package to a $40k+ custom job is apples-to-oranges. Comparing what $40k buys you with this package vs what it COULD buy you isn’t. Yes, this package includes wheels and tires from companies that can be quite pricey (I couldn’t find the exact wheels, but some of those heritage wheels are a few grand

How did you even get here if you can't look up pictures on Google?

Well, you also weren't paying forty grand for the fake stuff.

That’s an awful big upcharge, considering the most expensive GW maxes out at ~$113k. That just isn’t a $37k paint job. For that kind of money, I want real wood on the sides.

Ooh, a fancy RV is a great answer. It would have to come with a driver, but it's probably the only way I'll ever get my dad to travel again unless I luck into private jet money.

If money is no object, who gives a shit? My parents don't want it to be easy to change the oil, they want someone else to do it. Even better if the car is expensive enough to have someone come pick it up and drop it off when the work is done.

Sometimes, parents are just boring when it comes to cars. My mom doesn’t consider driving fun. It’s something she has to do. So the best car for her would be a super cushy SUV or crossover with a driver. The most extreme version of that would be a Cullinan or Bentayga, which are very plush but still very boring.

The fact that you think only rich boomers would want this is crazy. The car is gorgeous, the design timeless. The fact that they’ve completely re-engineered the thing to make it drivable with that kind of power is great.

I made the mistake of buying a Costco pack of red lentil pasta when I tried to do keto for like a month in 2020. It was awful. I cooked it in the same stock pot I always use for pasta, but it boiled over like nothing I’ve ever seen. And it wasn’t normal boil-over that calms down the second you cut the heat or drizzle

I honestly don’t know why people dump on the materials so much. I had a 2019 Premium AWD for a few years, and I thought it was quite nice. It wasn’t what I would expect from a luxury car, but it was definitely a step above your average family sedan.

Just be glad it doesn't play Bruce Springsteen at progressively louder volumes when you hit the throttle.

I think it’s a stretch to say that part of one sentence was the “real point,” especially when the rest of that sentence included the aforementioned bike and hiking suggestions.

No. The Raptor is not on the list of trims where you can downgrade.

You mean the part where you talk about a bunch of vehicles that aren’t in anything approaching the same market as the Raptor? Or the part where you suggested hiking as an “off-roading” option?

Why are we jumping through so many hoops to make a worse version of mass transit? Seriously, with the amount of money being invested into autonomous vehicles that will probably never work right, we could have better bus service, light rail, etc.
