That was doomed from the start. The Dakota it was based on was ugly. I have no clue how this styling came out of the same company and at the same time as the 300.

GMC’s existence has always been weird to me. I don’t think they’ve sold a unique product in my lifetime (at least until the Hummer EV, which doesn’t count). Sure, at least half of GM’s lineup in the late 90s and early 00s were lazy examples of badge-engineering. But most of the brands still had a unique product or

Plenty of it north of Chicago, too.

There are plenty of better reasons to hate people from New Jersey.

While this is true, 25 years in Wisconsin has taught me that people with German heritage are perfectly willing to mispronounce their own last names.

Yeah, I don’t think saying things correctly is pretentious.

If you can get one at MSRP, the Heritage is actually a good deal. A 2-door Big Bend with that powertrain and the Sasquatch package retails for just over $47k including destination.

CoffeeJedi is all sorts of wrong. The 599 is one of the best looking cars ever, regardless of brand. The 550 is fine, and is much better looking than most Ferrari products in the last ~20 years.

This configuration gains 168 HP, 238 lb-ft of torque, and likely a decent amount of fuel efficiency over the twin-turbo V8 it’s replacing. Environmental regulations spelled the end for big engines years ago. We're just hearing the death rattles now.

One of these things is not like the other.

If you're throwing your phone 50+ mph, the cops probably need to be called for another reason.

Nice try. I hate iPhones. Had to use one for work years ago. Hated it. Bought one last year to see if they were any better. Hated it even more.

Somebody is going to have to explain to me how a company that was founded in (at the time) Germany by an Italian, went bankrupt, was revived by another Italian, sold to the Germans, and is now owned by a Croatian startup is called "the French automaker."

It’s not cruel/ageist. It’s statistically practical. Drivers 80+ are more likely than any age group above 30 to be in a car crash. The problem with waiting until they become unsafe is that it’s we don’t really have a way to keep track of that in a proactive or even timely manner. In my state, drivers over 60 are

I think the obvious reason Biermann was too polite to say out loud is the dealer network. Hyundai has had enough trouble getting it’s dealers to stop acting like it’s the 90s. The brand has very desirable vehicles now, but many of their dealers have failed to mature along with the product.

How did you get from “I didn’t secure my phone properly” to “phones are too big?”

So, you fail to properly secure your phone, and it’s somehow Apple’s fault for having a feature that worked like it’s supposed to?

Yes, I would think that going from 60+mph to stationary while also sensing multiple impacts would generally qualify as a crash.

The Kia I bought 4 years ago had this feature. The technology might be different or upgraded, but this isn't some big revelation.

You don’t have to allot nearly that much time. Live TSA wait times are available online. Unless I have time to kill and want to hang out in an airport lounge, I generally don’t show up for a domestic flight more than an hour before takeoff.
