Oh, I didn’t mean to indicate that you had to choose between the two. But there are a lot of cars out there that offer heated seats and steering wheel, but not cooled seats. If I’m spending 60k on a car, those would be off my list.

Personally, though, I'd much rather have ventilated seats than a heated steering wheel in that climate, especially if the car is going to be garage-parked all the time. Especially given the heat waves they've seen up there over the past couple of years.

Or, you know, we could compare EVs to actually-comparable ICE cars.

Expense it to the production company, buy it on the cheap when the show wraps?

The Honda Fit in “Nora from Queens” has to be up there. A perfectly fine car from the factory, but cheap flame decals, racing wheels, body kit, and - for some reason - a luggage rack make it unbearable to look at. It deserves the boot.

Have you seen how nuts people have gone over instant pots and air fryers the last few years? "Appliance" isn't the burn it used to be.

Nobody is counting your time waking out to your car. Come on, now.

The only time I’ve ever had a commute longer than ~20 minutes was when I was a temporary contractor and didn’t want to risk moving into the city until I got hired full time. That lasted maybe 9 months.

The very last thing this world needs is more people. Let’s make sure that the planet remains habitable, and that we can provide food, shelter, medicine, safety, etc. to the existing population before we start worrying about not having enough bodies in a thousand years or whatever.

I want to like the Charger concept, but it still gives me too much Stratus/Intrepid. I honestly didn’t think those were poorly-designed cars for the time, but the concept just doesn’t seem special enough to me.

Macaroni salad is supposed to be cold.

“the price to “own the color” was still too high.”

Just an FYI. I bought one of these a couple weeks ago when KD posted them. I’m not sure how much refurbishing is really done here. The one I bought did not have a new battery (cycle count was ~300 I think). The previous owner’s plastic covers were still attached to the case. The case was in okay shape, but had some

Oh, I’m not saying it’s far-fetched to say that the GW competes with the Merc. I’m just saying that if they wanted people to think that the Wagoneer and the GW were different models, they should have done literally anything to make them feel distinct.

1. It’s pretty clear that all of the listed competitors (except the Mercedes) are just progressively more expensive trims of the same car. Tahoe/Suburban>Yukon/Yukon XL>Denalis>Escalade/ESV. Expedition>Navigator. Pointing to those as evidence that these are two different models is a pretty weak argument by Jeep.

Honestly, most people I’ve known who can’t get any sort of credit card also don’t have a checking account. They do everything in cash.

At will employment doesn’t mean you can’t sue. A couple jobs ago, I worked for a company that had an employee sue them for wrongful termination. She was fired because 9 kept falling asleep at work (she was working for a 1-900 line at night), and because she was a salesperson who did everything possible to NOT sell

While I would certainly take a nice green instead, there is no way Rosewood is worse than the plethora of monotone bullshit.

Unless dude has a documented history of incompetence, he should sue the owner for wrongful termination. Yes, he made a costly mistake, but firing an otherwise his employee for a typo is rather extreme.
