When he says "our old friend," I'm pretty sure the whole point is making fun of that debacle.

I would buy that truck in a heartbeat if they could make it with the same interior as the 3-wheeler. That would be such a dope little car for cruising around when the temp is above 50. Just need that rear window to slide open, and I could putz around town all summer with my dogs in the back and a smile on my face.
Fiat really dropped the fucking ball by not advertising that Espresso maker. This is the first I've heard of it, but I know a few people who could be convinced to at least take a test drive by that alone.
“it’s also highly unlikely a juvenile court judge would allow this individual — a 15-year-old with no criminal history — to have her case handled in adult court”
On the bright side. If you're the one in back, one "slip" of the paddle and no messy paperwork.
The silence is good advice from his lawyer, regardless of whether he has anything to do with the woman’s disappearance. Talking to the police can’t help you.
Early-2000s Japanese cars do not have Wisconsin-ready heaters in my experience, though. Both my 04 Mazda 3 and my mom's 04 Honda Pilot had pretty anemic units. When it was double digits below zero, I could be going full speed on the interstate, and the heater couldn't warm up the car. The Pilot could never keep the…
MANY things on a car will get churlish in those temps, especially if fluids are low or old. Your battery might not wake up. Your transmission might be sluggish. Your steering might struggle (if you still have hydraulic assist). Brakes can get extra squeaky.
These are all horrible suggestions with the exception of maybe the Honda.
I had an ex-fleet s10 that was fitted to run on either CNG or Propane. Still had all the gauges in the engine bay, along the holes in the bed where the tank was mounted.
Look, I want good, cheap cars to rule the land, too. But it’s not exactly a revelation that for-profit companies would shy away from low-margin products and focus on high-margin ones instead. Especially when the unprofitable stuff has steadily waned in popularity for a number of reasons that have little to do with the…
Run into a lot of mirrors, then, huh?
Magna is an experienced MANUFACTURER, yes. But I don't know that I've ever heard of them handling the design/engineering duties. Maybe they designed the unibody, suspension, steering, and all the other "car" bits, but I'd be interested in knowing for sure one way or the other.
That sounds a little bleak for enthusiasts, maybe, although something will need to be done with used vehicles once they are no longer “fit for service,” so I’d imagine there would still be a market for those who want to buy cheaper cars, modify their vehicles, etc. A variety of budgets will always make for a variety…
Oh, the majority of the tin foil hat gang have moved on from “it’s a hoax created by the Dems to win the election” to “it is a purposely engineered biological weapon created by the Chinese using American dollars provided by old, bumbling Sleepy Joe while Obama was trying to bring Sharia law to the US.”
Less than $50 could have bought you a room in a hostel or bed and breakfast, even if it was just to use the shower. Cheaper than a new pair of glasses.
So just so we’re clear, this was brought here to act as Ford’s small, cheap offering because nobody buys cars anymore. The Focus outsold this hunk of shit by nearly 4-1 the year before they axed it. The Fiesta outsold it nearly 2-1 the year before it was killed.
I have never lived in New York, but this sounds patently ridiculous to me. Street parking in any city can get real cutthroat real quick, so I understand the little weekly dance, but there’s a limit. First time I came out to an overnight double parker, I’d turn into the king of snitches. PE would be on speed dial.
Ugghh. Why can't we have nice things!?
The people going down that road aren’t driving any faster because new cars can accelerate faster. You sitting there for an extra car or two isn’t holding up a line of cars at a red light. The light’s red. At most, your cautiousness might mean one less person gets to turn before the light goes green. No different than…
