So after we eat the cows, we’re supposed to just throw away the hides? Seems wasteful and environmentally unfriendly. </sarcasm>
OTOH, if it ain’t broke... RWD (or AWD) NA V6 sport sedan. It’s reliable, it’s a good value, and it has CarPlay. People complain there aren’t enough like this.
I remember envying that.
Aww shucks, guess I’ll get a 4Runner TRD Pro instead and not have to deal with leaks and rattles and Ford dealers.
I had a ‘13 Accord Sport and the choices with 6MT were black and gray. I chose gray. It was nice looking, but they had a sweet blue that I couldn’t have and I remained salty. OTOH, I always knew when I saw other Sports in white, blue, etc. whether they were as cool of a dad as I was.
“With these expanded offerings, the new Ford Expedition SUV is poised to attract new customers who are more culturally diverse than the full-size SUV category has seen in past years, including more women seeking family adventures to balance the stress of their overprogrammed lives.”
Looks like it can hold two phones though? Maybe your passenger wants to see their notifications too?
I *think* that’s the carbon composite material that the bed is made of? If it’s like that which has been used for the Tacoma’s bed for many years now, I have seen no fading. Hopefully it’s not just the basic gray plastic stuff on bumper end caps and whatnot, with some texturing.
Agreed. And the “off road” version is the one these guys will want to get their stuff back in the woods. Now imagine overlanding with rooftop tents and kitchen equipment and recovery gear and dogs etc etc etc. It’s not enough, IMO.
Pour one out for the V8. I guess if we must move on to smaller turbo things, I’d rather have a Toyota in the long run. But I’m going to give them a couple years to work out the bugs. And maybe they’ll get that sweet 5.0 under there eventually...
“While they acknowledge that Moore bears some responsibility for the way he was driving...”
Agree. If you have a guy that can maintain it, and you have $25K total, and another reliable car for the work week... I guess this is a good one to buy for 10. It would be fun to cruise around in this on the weekend. Probably won’t lose any money when it’s time to sell.
We all know these are hideously unreliable. But that is super clean and low miles. If you know a guy who can maintain it, and you really want a $25K Rolls for funsies, this would be a good one.
My guess is that the “average” used car in those states is a relatively more expensive pickup truck or SUV. Maybe scarcity plays a significant part in AK. But overall, it could be down to the type of car.
Plus you get to hear it howling and vibrating in the wind every time you go over 55 mph. To remind yourself to slow down and be more eco-friendly.
1st - I very much doubt this will happen. Once they get a taste of the sweet, sweet money being thrown at their new SUVs, why on earth would they dial that back? Or is this some Jesuitical trickery, “all new vehicles will be electric from 2025"... But we’ll continue to *update* our SUVs wink wink ;-) (and we’ll have…
