I don’t know what to tell you. Trump isn’t going away, whether he is prosecuted or not. I’m not aware of any theory of deterrence that suggests that letting people get away with something deters other people from doing the same thing.

It always amazes me how they (Republicans) never realize the logical conclusion of the things they say. If Trump is admitting that he is at least partly responsible for the riot, that argues in FAVOR of impeachment, not AGAINST it.

Not sure if that was aimed at me or not, but my personal take on Elon is that he is a brilliant engineer and businessman. He’s also a total kook and at times a unhinged nutcase. That being said, i’m willing to tolerate his kookiness because of all the good he is accomplishing at the end of the day.
