I am so sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry for your loss.
But the Georgia SOS basically admitted it was his office though, right? I thought I saw he said something along the lines of “I didn’t want to get into another situation like we did with Lindsay Graham” where LadyG just lied about everything that was said on their call a while back.
You sure about that? I thought the fifth amendment protects from self-incrimination, and since they could still be charged by the state (because Trump can’t pardon for state crimes), I think they would still be able invoke it at the state level. They couldn’t at the federal level though.
On top of that I think most people don’t realize we continue to pay presidents for the rest of their life.
Does everyone in this thread think you wrote “presidential prison?” Like there is such a thing?
All true. I guess I’m maybe thinking the election reform battle is going to have to happen in the states more? Just trying to stay hopeful.
Sure, but let’s say Biden wins and the Senate ends up 51-49 in their favor after the Georgia specials. When you have the other two, you can get say someone like Mitt Romney to play ball with you, and Kamala can break the tie.
It would be pretty delicious if Fox News ends up being the first network to call it for Biden, as they have already called Arizona and do not seem interested in taking that back, and Nevada looks like it should be mostly counted today.
As for the more pertinent topic of Iowa? Don’t put any hope in it. You won’t find a more racist, sexist and homophobic backwater even in the deepest south.
I heard good live but then caught the captions said go ahead. Also several folks I follow on twitter rewound it and heard go ahead the second time.
Unless I missed it, there was not even one... “You couldn’t protect your boss from COVID, why should the American people believe you can protect them?”... from Kamala. I can only imagine that had to be their strategy and cannot for the life of me figure out why.
Make American Republicans B.I.T.C.H.E.S. - Love it.
Surprised I hadn’t heard that given he was my former governor. He actually did have some reasonable qualifications (compared to other Trump ambassadors) for the job even if I did despise the guy. He even stepped down from being active governor to take it.
Why does nobody ask - “What makes them unequal?” For all the other groups listed there is an obvious answer.
Who does speak for Anthony? who said anything about reading minds?
A competent administration might have made a phone call to ask how they’d react first?
I suspect that’s because most people figure it will track along with the presidential election in Iowa. If Trump wins, Ernst wins. I does seem that the media has mostly decided Iowa is no longer a swing state anymore, and I don’t quite understand that. I don’t think Trump has it locked up by any means.
I can understand why someone in Nebraska could have that view if you mostly interact with Western Iowans, but the latest polls do show Ernst behind.
And if donating to Harris means he’s not a racist, wouldn’t it also mean he’s not a republican?
I think it’s actually worse than that.
