A competent administration might have made a phone call to ask how they’d react first?

I suspect that’s because most people figure it will track along with the presidential election in Iowa. If Trump wins, Ernst wins. I does seem that the media has mostly decided Iowa is no longer a swing state anymore, and I don’t quite understand that. I don’t think Trump has it locked up by any means.
I can understand why someone in Nebraska could have that view if you mostly interact with Western Iowans, but the latest polls do show Ernst behind.
And if donating to Harris means he’s not a racist, wouldn’t it also mean he’s not a republican?
I think it’s actually worse than that.
pandering is literally a politician’s job. Why is it bad?
Not that she should run then, but I do believe she would technically be old enough in 2024 as she turns 35 that year - in October before the election.
And based on what we’ve seen in other countries, the economic toll would have been approximately the same, maybe even not as bad.
I thought they all hated W now because he likes Michelle Obama’s candy.
Getting beaten because you picked the wrong team is just as bad as getting beaten because you are the wrong color or picked the wrong god.
Some other (not quite as great) election news - Steve King lost his seat, although it was to someone as arguably bad as he is, but generally incumbents are harder to beat.
I really wasn’t trying to troll. I seriously wasn’t understanding and appreciate you giving me an actual answer and clarification. I thought you were making the argument that they segregated themselves first and therefore shouldn’t complain (which to be clear I wouldn’t agree with even if it does make “some sense”).…
Maybe I’m not understanding you but is this a complicated way of saying “they started it”? Cause that would make some sense i guess.
Right - like even if you add them all together it’s still not enough to give everyone a million. It’s damn difficult to be THIS wrong, but I find a lot of humans don’t understand numbers over a million very well.
This compliant is so tiring.
Although they are basing it on 2019 or 2018 returns, this actually impacts 2020, so you’d actually get a $500 credit when you file your 2020 return if I’m understanding this right.
We are so screwed.
Yeah it’s pretty clear he understands the gravity of the situation at least in that moment. Something the current idiot isn’t capable of.
Is that THE moment he was told? I knew he was reading to kids and that looks like a classroom. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this picture though.
Thanks for confirming my point.
