Really? Points to GM, I'll go check this out next time I have access to one. So why doesn’t every car have that? It’s been a decade! Rhetorical question.

Those headlights are the funniest thing I've seen all week. They look like someone drew them onto the video as a joke. "Durrr-dee, I'm a Scarabee!"
I don’t disagree but the cynic in me feels like instead of that, where we’re headed is DRL-like tails (marketed as a safety innovation), which would be stupid because it would make the change to brake light less obvious. And then brighter/flashing/strobing/lasering brake lights next. Just watch.
Let’s talk about the real biggest headlight safety problem. Because of the proliferation of automatic headlights and DRLs, more and more drivers seem to not understand that they need turn their headlights on at night or when it’s advisable for other safety reasons. How do we correct this? More tech, I’m sure?
They are not basically the same vehicle, New Yorker. That’s like saying a Kia Niro EV is the same as a Model X. Shit, wait, no, I agree there, lemme come up with another one...
As the owner of both a heavily-used family home and also a vacation rental, yes to simplehuman anything because of the durability. Especially this particular one because of the adjustability and the fact that you can go buy it at most department stores. Don’t get tempted to get something other fixed unit in antique…

As a host of one vacation property that my family rents just enough to break even, I’ll say this. The two big companies are completely, unfairly 100% on the renter’s side if there’s a dispute over the damage deposit. The bigger risk is renting to someone with no reviews. This article is backwards, risk wise.
Good point. I was so psyched for the Giulia, it looked so gorgeous and Italian, and then...
Maybe MY comment was a joke and YOU’RE being too serious. Huh? Huh?
I wonder what they’d take if you pointed at the silver nearly new one for $53k? Because I like the white one with black wheels better. So stealthy subtle yet fast looking at the same time.
Because driving is way more fun than sitting at home and the Jag is a lot nicer and faster than the Subaru and I hate Subarus. Agree to disagree, I suppose.
A new, expensive, fast crossover from a company with a history of quality issues. Will this article set the record for most Jaloptroll comments? Will there be any actual questions? Does anyone care?
The only actual question asked so far. Here’s an XF-S for $52,740 with 2800mi. I wish you could get SVRs without all the visual frippery, I like the hp but hate the silly overstyling.
No, you need 550hp for the taking the long way home after doing those things.
Similar! I drove Chevy trucks since Dad’s, had a 2005 Tahoe in grad school and I was working on it literally every week. Alternator, starter, fuel pump, wiring, etc etc and over and over. Then finally one head gasket blew right as I graduated and I swore off Chevy. Decided to go Honda for reliability and got ripped…
I believe you deserve this “Touche” sir.
Eeesh, HDH chooses perspective, my worst enemy. If it redeems me some, they’re all aging. 2014 RR Sport with 75k. 2006 M5 with 60k. 2008 M3 with 50k. A fistful of lit dynamite to some. Just a lot of heart to me, I’m the short fuse.
Thanks. That would make a good discussion. Jalopnik: What brand have you soured to because of an actual, personal experience? Describe. Understanding it’s all anecdotal, let’s get it out of our system. But considering my knee-jerk reaction in this thread, I might have to recuse myself from participation.
Fair enough. Thanks.
