You know what they say, next moving screen machine up!

That’s an 80s Vette? Huh, I would’ve guessed early 90s. Guess I don’t know my Vettes very well. What are we calling the 00s wood again? I’m ready for that one.

Maybe builders like this should have their own section of Kinja because every single one of their builds is really interesting. But never mind, I just realized that that would make Jalopnik into Reddit. Still, do yourself a favor and go look at their other stuff.

Can we not.

I have another much-maligned F1-derived V10 from an arguably more maligned brand (E60 M5). Nothing else to add to this conversation except go Porsche. Let this engine see the light of day. It will be embraced and remembered.

No.

This is the perfect foil to the long lines of look-at-me overly kitted out @overlanding asses clogging instagram and mountain passes right now. Thumbs up!

Interesting! I’d believe it. Hyundai’s the one of those two that’s actually trying in the motorsports space. Their rally cars have done pretty good. They’ve now earned at least a modicum of enthusiasts’ respect.

An OLD Audi TT?

Good point. In my defense, my grumpy comment came from a having young kids perspective too. I wish more people would use both cameras AND mirrors.

I don’t know... I’d like to think that but McLaren (the racing part, anyway) lately seems very corporate, as in throw money at it and if it doesn't succeed then cut them off kind of corporate. I think it's the right call, though, regardless of motivation. Stop the bleeding and figure out the problem with the culture,

An opening! Here’s your once in a lifetime chance, Kia.

You... want to look directly back at your trailer to make sure it’s still attached? Or you want a completely confusing rear view from you trailer’s bumper? Why? Use your mirrors like everyone else has forever.

No shit. This again. Backup cameras don’t erase existing driving skills, though they do hasten the extinction of essential driving skills.

Nothing worse than a dry levy when you’re trying to drive your Chevy.

THANK YOU. Every time I say this, people look at me like I said 9/11 was an inside job. And most of these are car people. WTF, it's obvious.

Dang, I just posted the link to the company that makes Spectre ones and then scrolled down to see you beat me to it. I love it, definitely near the top of vehicles I’d buy if I had that kind of $ to burn. Here's the RR Sport from Spectre, which I sort of styled my Sport after, although my wife is not about that light

I don’t think you have anything to worry about in terms of off-road capability. I have a 2014 RR Sport and I was amazed by how even though it’s a sporty model, it was clearly designed with that same old focus on conquering any conditions without breaking a sweat. It kicks ass, although I probably won't go rock

Yeah, before I read the article and found out it was his car, I was like... that’s not that bad. At least it’s a BMW wheel. The style is right. The guy’s ad was wrong. We can all probably walk around the block and see a half dozen worse examples of upsized wheels.
