A an owner of a V10 BMW with stock exhaust, stooooopppp talking please.... so tempted. V10s sound unique, sometimes I feel like I’m doing a disservice to humanity if I don’t uncork it before the V10s are gone.

I was lucky enough to drive an F-Type R for a weekend recently, and I liked its exhaust settings: Obnoxious in loud mode and loud in quiet mode.

8am and starting out strong, Jalopnik. There is no way this doesn’t produce COTD.

Dynamically styled uber-utility suburban game-changer seamlessly integrated with a synergistic cutting edge infotainment ecosystem leveraging cutting edge technology

Yeah I don’t see the horror. Boredom maybe. It just looks like it’s yawning at its existence, wishing it was a car instead of an appliance.

No. Not unless you try to use it as one.

No. Not unless you try to use it as one.

White Center and Renton seem too obvious, but maybe appropos to the Bennett/Kaepernick activism discussion.

You know that commercial and all those fail videos where the guy tries to pull a stump out with a truck and pulls his bumper off? Yeah, I did that with my dad’s truck when I was about 17. Tied the rope to the front bumper and bent it. THEN, because apparently I wasn’t done making bad decisions that day, I tried to

Yep. Cats used to be top dog, but now the internet societal chain goes dogs, cats, stepsibling porn... everything else... and at the bottom parents and children, Trump.

Fair enough. I get too easily triggered after too much time perusing the kid hating but doggos lol internet.

We need a new movement for kids. That's not fucking funny.

This is the real COTD.

I was watching the 1/16/18 Mecum aution (Scottsdale, I think), and here’s an actual copy-pasted text to my BIL:

Eh, I’m happy with my NA V10 (and a big fat sack of cash, or garage of other cars and bikes if you want to look at it that way). No BMW with an F in front of it is visceral in the same way. I don’t care about the specs. But to each his/her own.

OEMs have long listed anything manually shiftable as a manual. If you run the VIN on a SMG BMW, it will say manual. So while I understand your outrage, the root of the problem offoffioffofficoffoffioffofffoffioffoffico fuck kinja you get my point.

I don’t know about force majeure applying to a tariff change. I think several US courts have held that tariffs are a normal contract risk and not FM, even when the contract specifically included governmental actions like tariffs in the FM clause. I’d have to see the contract but I’m guessing JPM would have to find

Interesting. I was wondering about the accounting. So do you think the owner believes the tariff will be reduced or reversed?

It's what it always is, they don't like the car and vote CP. That's not what this is about, but internet.

Sweet jesus, that music. You’d think we were watching the birth of the universe.
