It’s very contextual IMO. If it’s someone trying to get my business or a follow-up from an interview, it can make me raise an eyebrow as the individual clearly didn’t take the two seconds of care to type out my name as it’s written on my business card. Again, very context-driven as to whether or not I care or it bugs

I have no idea why the myth persists that people buy muffins because they’re deluded that muffins are diet food, or at least healthy in some way. Nobody thinks that! People eat muffins for the taste, not out of any health halo. Fat people aren’t as stupid as thin people think.

That’s what’s mentioned in the “article,” though...

3 - why doesnt the NFL plan for this and have a plan in place to get the familes on to the field?

Pretty sure they said member of security team, which could include ushers, lanyard/pass/ticket checkers, direction givers, etc.

Yea. All of the PSU stuff aside, why were the UT fans wrong to be incensed about a shit-ass hire. I’m a alum/fan of a far less prestigious/football-tradition-having P5 team and I would have absolutely hated the hire without knowing any of that stuff.

He’s a fan of Schiano and has been for a long time and genuinely believed this would have been a good hire, or at least the best UT could have hoped for. He also appears to believe McQueary’s allegation had no merit. Nothing he

I promise that my intent here is not to be smug and dismissive. I do not believe that abandoning these shows makes me better or more refined than people who will continue watching them.

I think my comment may not have come through as intended. I wasn’t trying to say application of those traits wasn’t racist at one point.

The fact that somewhere along the way, the racist intolerant WASP population of the US used a piece of irish mythology that has existed for 400 odd years to draw their own racist conclusions about the irish people does not make the folklore in and of itself racist.

Now the leprechaun archetype doesn’t look like an evil, mischievous fairy

Fun fact, there’s a leprachaun museum in Dublin.

Funny you should mention vegan crossfitters. I’ve been toying with making my new handle “Polyamorous Vegan Crossfitter.” Not sure which of those I would tell you about first. A real conundrum.

Particularly when almost any court is going to defer to the teams themselves with respect to roster decisions.

Thank you.

Well said. Drew is by far my favorite writer here, but this is exactly what I was thinking while reading this piece.
