Maybe from a dollar/time ratio you could consider it wasteful, but I don’t. And it isn’t our money either so it isn’t up for us to say. From a standpoint of really selling the scene, it was completely worth it to me. The whole thing reminded me of the original film’s cantina scene, but on a completely different scale

This may be mentioned down-thread (just entered comments), but they might get back to it in another movie. Maybe one about the girl’s (forget her name) backstory?

People love Boba Fett, but what if he was a little boy...?

and all fans know R2-D2 is the only character present in all three trilogies, and now his role is to be a prop? I’m angry. Furious!

Regarding Snoke’s death, I thought it was a little odd that his body just sat there afterward. What are the chances that this body was just a physical vessel for whatever he is?

I loved what they did with R2 (“there’s nothing you can say to me to get me to come help” or something like that, followed by the Leia clip). Also, the dual suns music at the end was a great callback.

Yeah, the kid thing at the end to me just felt tacked on, like a studio honcho saw the working cut and said “NO BUT THERE NEEDS TO BE A CUTE KID WHO CAN GROW UP IN THE NEXT ONE, because that worked so well for E1-3, people love those.”

Agreed. Luke was a novice with ObiWan. Then a few years pass between ANH and ESB. Then, much more time passes on Dagobah (or could have at least) then we are led to believe with Rey in this movie.

Someone I was with mentioned that to me, but I missed it as well. They got like a couple letters of the second billing.

I love all the low-key ways Luke shows off how powerful he really is. That little mini-duel with Rey? Man he was schooling her something fierce until she whipped out the lightsaber.

He may have been my favorite part of the movie!

Yes, the force books were in the drawer below the bed.

I must have missed that.. I thought it was just showing the future of the rebellion (common folk across the galaxy who may not have been heard from yet).

The Force was always accessible to a wide range of people.

Or they can be polyamorous to accurately reflect the GMG demo (apparently).

New fantasy football team name found.

You could post something stupid like this from all over the internet every day. If anything the links and clicks will only help the SEO for these fake posts...

Yea, this shit exists for everything. There used to be a thing where you could put in the url “xxxyyy.isgay.com” and it would make up news article about the person. This is the cousin of that stupid crap. It’s been around forever. Why is this story-worthy?

You would think that they would at least bother to get something as imminently google-able as the actual name of the Northern District of GA correct in their fake news. I’m sorry, but I expect a certain level of veracity in my non-fact based media.
