God what I wouldn’t give after decades of trekking all over for dinners or cooking for dozens then being forced to clean up when “family” makes up excuses to go elsewhere right after. I could make what I want, watch what I want and do what I want!

I’d like to see a different Blade Runner set somewhere in rural america. Replicants in the woods, maybe a commune if replicants or something. Rural dystopia could be cool.

I would think a hand towel might suck up the moisture and keep it crispy, as opposed to using foil to tent, which essentially steams the skin. 

I do opposite…tent during most of the cooking, then take off and turn up the temp in the last 15 or 20 minutes to crisp up the skin. 

I was an awkward nerd growing up but I also embraced the bullying and would add it to my own self-deprecating arsenal.  I don’t think everyone is so keen on being critical of themselves but it’s just about the best thing to disarm a bully if it’s a tool your comfortable with.

With recognition that everyone’s on their own journey of personal growth, bullies are often if not always burying inner insecurities which triggers them to act out this way and often sociopathic, without empathy for how others may receive their actions; that said, removal of self from such situations is as I’ve found…

I actually do double layer cheesecloth over my turkey while it’s in the oven until the last hour and a half, so the legs and breast don’t dry out, and it holds the basting liquid against the skin much better than letting it all roll off. I just accept that people have different names for the same thing, and often they don’t accurately describe what they are.

Ever since this article, I stopped putting my water bottle and ipad in the magazine holder. Also when traveling during the colder months, I put my jacket and hoodie into my suitcase so they’re not sitting in the plastic bin of germ.

So I guess the whole idea here is to try and shake off all the negative Facebook news by being a new name?

Problem is, they haven’t actually solved any of the issues with Facebook, so it’s just going to immediately be new articles saying how bad Meta is..
