That one is great! The Power of Myth, Louise's boyfriend worrying that the Simpsons will have gone off the air by the time he graduates from Harvard…

I love Alexis Bledel and her deer-in-the-headlights demeanour, but boy could she not pull off those snappy lines she was given. She mumbles without inflection or emphasis.

"We were 16! We didn't want to get married!"

I, too, want to give the writers credit for not trying to oversell the Luke/Lorelai thing with some schmaltzy reunion in the gazebo or mad speed chase to the airport. Just a hint that those crazy kids will probably work it out was enough. Hopefully they'll get some counselling after all the messed up stuff they did to

Totes agree about the dungeons feeling like real places! Like the mine for instance (apparently most of the "temples" in Zelda games are places of worship?).

I guess I'm what some people might call a fan girl, so I'm glad Nintendo seems to be having a bit of a moment (what with Smash Bros. and Mario Kart earlier). Still can't help wishing this was a REAL Zelda. I know, I know – we got one not even a year ago. But it's looking pretty grim on the general action

I would have been pretty annoyed if all there was to the ending was "…and then I ran into your mother at the Farhampton train station, just as I told you two years ago. The End."

I would recommend pretending that the episode ending with the rooftop leap (the season 4 finale?) is the series finale. All of the characters decide to take a huge step forward in their lives and it's the perfect ending to Barney's arc especially.

I heard (and when I say "heard" I mean "read in the comments on the Buffy/Angel recaps on this website") she was fired for getting pregnant (and not saying anything in time). But that doesn't make any sense though because it's illegal (right?) and also they wrote the pregnancy into the show anyway, so why fire her

Iiiiinteresting… Well, the Wii games still feel pretty fresh to me, so I would probably rather go further back. Maybe Super Mario 64, Start Fox 64 or Paper Mario?

The gameplay is decent, people mostly hate it for the cut scenes/story.

Yes, I want to (re)play this, but I'm a little weary of the GBA games for the Wii U. I don't think the trailers look so good with the picture size blown up like a 150%. I'm sure I could learn to live with it, but then again I might wake up six months from now to a software update that finally allows the 3DS to play

I think Wii games is probably stretching it? But maybe this thing can finally play SNES and GBA games.

There are quite a lot of spoilers in the comments, yes.

I was confused when Meryl showed up in MSG4, only learning later that she wouldn't die if you withstood the torture. But I didn't want a game over!

Would there be a difference if the wording was "Jump" and "Don't jump" or "Jump? Yes/No" instead of "Wait"? I think Teti is right that there is a slight hint (for the record I have jumped TWICE). Lord knows JRPG:s are full of redundant yes/no questions, like "you see something shining in the debris. Pick it up?

But almost every city in FFVI looks the same, apart from Narshe and Vector. And every cave/dungeon place looks the same. I just think the prerendered backdrops in FFVII look terrific.

Great article, though I have to say I'm starting to get a little bit tired of hipsters online always whining about how superior FFVI is to FFVII. You know what, you win. FFVI is the better game. It is written. Now give it a rest.

I want to see this. But I also really want to click on the spoiler space link and spoil myself. Decisions, decisions…

I loved Friends as a kid, and I think it's pretty fun to talk smack about it now. But everyone who has left a one sentence comment saying "this show was a stinking turd" or the likes can go… to another article, regarding something they might enjoy more or at least be able to offer more insightful criticism on.
