Eh, not really.
Eh, not really.
Hey, I really like this feature!
I wasn't looking forward to it and I even gave up on the second half of last season, but Todd's piece made my cold indifferent heart soften. I even got a little goosebumpy there!
Before Midnight finally premiered in my country! …I didn't love it as much as most people seem to, though – Before Sunset is still my favorite by far. While this was still a good film, I think it lacked what made the first two so special. And it's not that I wanted a happier, more romantic film – in fact the…
If I could just play devil's advocate for a moment, while the phrase "no tv and no beer make Homer go crazy" isn't uttered on the show, it is very much implied by combining two different lines of dialogue and, as proven by the screencap up top, expressed in writing.
Wasn't this feature supposed to have its own menu item or something? It's kind of hard to find now, and also easily mistaken for the ordinary episode review…
I actually thought the Treehouse of Horror-episodes were the highlights of the post-golden era. Because the setting is an alternate horror-reality, it isn't as noticeable that everything is a little bit off.
Yes, we heard you the first time!
@Juan_Carlo:disqus What's the difference between clicking the "Load more comments"-button and clicking the link to go to the next page of comments?

I thought it was a little surprising that this episode was used the other week as an example of the Simpsons having more "heart" than Futurama. Because, as many noted, Futurama has plenty of sentimental moments, and I think the ending of this episode is actually pretty atypical of this show (I still like it, but I…

Mind. Blown.
Yup.
A semi-bad review of a Simpsons-episode from the classic era? Get yer pitch forks!
I have many issues with my beloved smother…
Not an artist exactly, but I wish Richard Dawkins wasn't apparently such a dick. I keep seeing moron friends on facebook share these racist bullshit post by something called the Richard Dawkins foundation or some such. I'm just gonna pretend it's probably NOT really his page. lalala.
Bender's Big Score is good, Bender's Game is awful (at least the last act). The others are ok.
Eh, it's certainly a valid opinion to think it's too 'on the nose'. I just thought it was kind of an odd thing to gripe about given that this kind of thematic resonance is usually lauded by critics in everything from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Mad Men. Maybe it isn't 'cool' anymore…
Stop it, STOP IT! He's already dead…
