Nicely fanwanked!

Yeah that is actually hilarious. "I just added some notes for you" - dafuq? Unless you're the author leaving a dedication, keep your pen out of there!

I don't really think he did it for Sherri though, even if I understand that's how it looks from Lorelai's perspective. It was probably just chance that made his personal growth coincide with this particular girlfriend.

Yeah April is a-ok in my book - it's just the bullshit drama that comes in her wake that ruins everything.

I love Jess! I mean I would never go for the bad boys in real life, but when living vicariously through television characters I'm rooting for the broody and difficult hotties all the way.

I'm not a bit fan of dragging out will-they-or-won't-they scenarios for years, but if they had to get together in the end I'm glad it's in such a sweet and natural way. No, you know, mad speed chase to the airport bullshit.

I assume it's a specific track in the metro system, perhaps often populated by seedy characters?

I do believe some say middle age starts at 35, but I was speaking mostly in jest. I just like to poke fun at the unrealistic expectations of romance perpetuated by the media.

I don't keep track of the seasons, but it It goes way downhill after Ross' wedding in England I always thought.

That scene is great, but Lorelai's reaction to it (suddenly realizing that Max isn't THE ONE) feels kinda… I mean Lorelai, honey - you're practically middle aged, you have a child. Maybe you shouldn't expect to feel the same way Emily did when she was like 18 on the night before her wedding, you know?

I'd just like to encourage everyone to extend the lives of the comments sections (like I'm doing right now!). You might not get much of a discussion, but those Buffy-articles are going to be read for years to come so if you have something to say, by all means spit it out. I always find it hilarious when I stumble upon

I watched Friends with kids and 2 days in New York on Netflix and they were both flawed but enjoyable I guess.

I believe Friends with kids was also criticized for some disingenuous (Bridesmaids-related) marketing around the same time.

Oh I completely agree about the show being hollow.

Marshall and Lily are moving to Rome! …not.

Indeed, "unexpected cash flow threatens the delicate Friday night dinner balance" is sort of a plot staple for this series.

I guess I could look this up on a GG wiki or something, but who's cousin Marilyn? I had no idea the actress who played Trixie did another part.

So I haven't been watching along with these articles (why isn't this on Netflix? ahhg!) but reading the recaps and comments has made me realize that I've misunderstood Rory and Dean's breakup. I always thought they were both too stubborn or shy or something to reach out to one another after their fight, but apparently

That parallell is made pretty explicit in one of my favorite moments of season 7 (weak praise) when Loralai goes to see mrs Kim, saying "My mother missed so much. I don't want that to happen to you".

I like the Pippi episode, but I find Luke's behavior in this one to be disturbing and not at all cute (which I realize we are supposed to think).
