That scene is great, but Lorelai's reaction to it (suddenly realizing that Max isn't THE ONE) feels kinda… I mean Lorelai, honey - you're practically middle aged, you have a child. I watched Friends with kids and 2 days in New York on Netflix and they were both flawed but enjoyable I guess.

I believe Friends with kids was also criticized for some disingenuous (Bridesmaids-related) marketing around the same time.
