All of the other EVs on the market are either too expensive or too small (and often extremely ugly). Not to mention their range is awful. I want Tesla to succeed. I really do. Trying to launch a crossover when they haven’t been able to meet any benchmarks on the current car makes zero sense.

They did end up paying that bill I’m happy to add, it just took a very long time.

I worked for a publication that GRC did heavy advertising with when they came to Phoenix two years ago. I don’t know if GRC ever paid their bill but they were being sent to collections when I left the company last year.

I am looking forward to devoting an hour to watching this... after the kids go to bed. I want to enjoy it :)

I grew up on the Peninsula, otherwise I wouldn’t be such a horrendous snob. I remember being able to walk down to the Wharf to see the cars up for auction in the early days, no charge, no pomp, no circumstance. The traffic there now is barely tolerable, let alone during car week. I’ll take the rest of your journey in

I prefer a ‘77 vintage, but avoiding the mess that is Monterey car week.

My parents had one of these in the mid-90s. It got 8 mpg on a good day. Parking took some talent. My parents kept a porta-potty in it until I learned to drive and discovered that porta-potties don’t have a good center of gravity.

I’m getting +\- 27.5 mpg out of mine and love it. Camping with my family of 4 was one of the reasons I bought it.

This is my favorite holiday tradition. Thank you Drew, it is truly Christmas now.

The town of Carefree, Arizona has a very low decibel limit complete with posted signs all over the place but they only enforce it on motorcycles. This is doubly confusing because Carefree is one of the most popular destinations for Arizona Bike Week and they make a lot of money from weekend warriors.

Sadly, kicking cars and/or their side mirrors is a pretty common motorcyclist response to getting cut off. I know many riders who’ve done something similar.

If there’s money and backers for this proposed women-only race series, why not take that money and back female racers in existing and respected series? Why segregate these talented women into a less respected championship? Why not put that money into marketing materials to promote these women? Danica Patrick is a

I don’t mind Phoenix-Yuma nearly as much as Phoenix-Blythe. I like the small towns with all of the roadside Americana on the 85 and the 8.

I hate Chiricahua Pass and the surrounding area but the scenery changes enough that I didn’t include it. It’s the Blythe-Phoenix bit that just kills my soul more than any other part of the trip between Phoenix and SoCal.

The I-10 between Phoenix, AZ and Blythe, CA is some of the most mind-numbingly boring road in the US. Either direction, it either starts the trip out on a depressing note or makes the return trip seem like you’ve entered limbo. There are a lot of parts of the Arizona desert that will take your breath away. This

Being married probably changes the dynamic, but there are precious few men in the automotive world that I’ve met that treat me like another person in the track. There are a lot of smile-and-nods in my world.

Our school parking lot was FULL of SUVs and trucks in the mid-90s. The next most popular type of vehicle was the VW bug (and a number of busses), we had a lot of restored 60s Mustangs interspersed with other restored muscle cars. In most cases the beater cars were beaters on purpose, to make an artistic statement. A

I want to shake this guy’s hand. What a great, fun thing to take that behemoth full of friends around a track like that.

This is exactly why we sold our home in an HOA. Don’t like my well-kept toy hauler in my driveway? Not my problem. I’m not doing anything wrong.

I am so sad about this. Once they developed a rapport and stopped trying to mirror the original the show got really fun. I don’t know what History is thinking, BIG mistake. I hope the show finds a new home because it’s one of the only shows I look forward to.
