That was a shitty place to work. I’m glad you don’t work there anymore.

That was quite a grisly escape!

The car was simply not a good Fit for the bear I am Amaze to see they Freed the bear instead of harming it.

How fast light travels is not relevant here. It’s how far the lights illuminate the road and possible obstructions, dangers, etc., because of the longer stopping distance when traveling at high speeds, and the fact that one’s reaction times don’t speed up just because one’s car is traveling faster.

Damn, that’s a great longform article. Thanks for posting.

It’s kind of getting easier to name all the things mustangs haven't crashed into.

Um, what?  Please tell me why in a power steering equipped vehicle driven at normal speeds you would need to keep two hands on the steering wheel?  The only time I have two hands on the wheel is if I’m driving spiritedly or quickly, or if there’s a chance of low traction (heavy rain or dirty/slick roads).  For normal

Loose gas cap.  It will go away in (3) drive cycles.

My question is this: Suppose Ward went back to third and stayed on the base. If Profar tags Ward before Profar touches the base, is Ward out? He’s on the base, but he is being forced home since in this scenario Profar hasn’t touched the bag yet.

Yeah, if the force is still in play, it’s not your base and you have to run. If Ward went back to third, Profar could have tagged him, then stepped on the base, then thrown to either of the other bases with two outs recorded and the force still intact.

He was triple out. Forced, tagged, left the baseline. Only thing left is to be on the cover of Out magazine next month.
