Exactly. If they sold things like the wings, non-combative pets and dye packs I'd be ok with that. I might even buy a few. Hell, I think it would be cool to sell new models for the characters, even. It's a good game in it's own right, but EA is horrible about updating their apps when new versions of Android are released. If 4.4 is anything to go by, there's a 3 month wait for compatibility on 5.0. It sucks, because Dead Space and Mass Effect Infiltrator were some of the best games on the Play Store.
