She crossed the line when she called Ramos a liar and a thief. That may not seem like much, but accusing a ref/ump of being corrupt is much worse than questioning their competence.

Trolling. I was a little drunk when I made my comment and I knew it would rile people up. He was a great tough player, but for real I don’t know why he gets a pass for his violent tendencies

Why does Steve Smith have a reputation of being a guy who will kick your ass if you slight him in the smallest way? I’ve seen him yap and talk shit for years, but I can’t recall him actually ever beating someone up in a fist fight. Maybe I’m missing something, but to me his whole persona is an act which I find tiresome

The AL playoffs are going to be insane. There’s a decent chance that four of the teams will have a 100 win teams.

How I hope he ended every pre-game speech

Is Peterman the worst QB to ever start in the NFL?

Personally, I like the idea that once the players are on the court it's up to the players to solve their opponents and come up with strategies.

The US Open is known for having the worst crowds in tennis so their behavior didn't surprise me. Watch the Federer-Djokovic final from 2015. That's about as bad as a crowd behaves in tennis

Serena wrongfully gets a lot of criticism just because she’s a black woman, but her indignation after the violations is why I’ve always been lukewarm towards her as a tennis fan. After the 2nd violation she could’ve gone back to playing instead of making things worse. While selective enforcement of the no coaching

I’m hoping for Delpo-Nole. They’ve produced some classics and it would be great to see Delpo in another slam final

I wouldn’t love that but I could live with it. I really wish the women’s final were best of five though. I think it would produce more memorable finals

I’ve mentioned this before, but the greatest match ever (2008 Wimbledon final) would have been over after two sets if it was best of three. You would be losing the chance to witness greatness like that if you went to best of three.

I really hope she wins the tournament. There’s a lot of talk about the men’s tour needing young stars, but the women’s tour need some too. Osaka has the game, personality, and charisma to be a star, she just needs that breakthrough victory

What happens if they somehow draft a player as good as Mack? Will they trade him too when it's time to give him the big contract?

I don’t think Nick was helped by the pep talk as much as he probably remembered he has a chance to take on Fed next round. Also, he was playing a doubles specialist and should've won in straights. I still stand by what I said in the last post about Kyrgios, but he does play his heart out against the big 3. I would not

I don’t care about this beef, but Kyrgios is the most overhyped and overrated tennis player I’ve seen. He’s flashy with a big serve and forehand and not much else. His return game sucks, his movement can be exploited, he’s never fit, and he’s mentally weak. When he gets down in matches he resorts to tanking because he

I doubt it was intentional. Those are common expressions to use when describing the situation above.

Really, they should do away with most graphics in sports broadcasts. Put the score, time, and relevant info in the bottom ticker and fill the rest of the screen with just the game with no graphics superimposed over it. If I need to check on the score of another game I can do so in a few seconds on my phone. We have 4k

From what I read his father/coach is an abusive piece of shit and I think he has issues from that.

The Davis Cup produces some great matches, but honestly not enough people care about it anymore. It’s seen as an exo by a lot of hardcore fans. These changes could generate some much needed interest.
