I really like the crop of young talent on the tour, but I feel like we’re still two to three years from one of them winning a slam. I wonder how the transition from the Big 3 to next gen goes. Will the lost gen players finally win slams or get leapfrogged by the younger players?
I hate to admit it, but the Sox have been fun to watch this year. I’m really hoping they meet the Astros in the ALCS. I think that series has potential to be as good as last year’s WS.
How about that volley on match point just now?
The Lakers are already wasting one of Lebron’s last prime seasons with this roster, so they might as well bring back Kobe and make this the most entertaining shitshow possible. I'm for it.
Clowney was one of the few bright spots for the texans last year. It’s not all about sacks. He was 2nd in tfl and he’s one of the best run stoppers. Him and Mercilus are underrated.
Paire is just paying tribute to Baghdatis
Luckily, I don’t have one, but I came real close to leaving before T-Mac’s 13 point barrage against the Spurs. My parents wanted to beat the traffic, but I convinced them to stay by pointing out that half the arena had already emptied before they made the decision to leave.
I’m hoping they get Melo just so they can play an all-beef lineup of Paul, Gordon, Harden, Melo and Tucker
Perhaps the most unsatisfying gif I’ve seen. Also, are my eyes fucking with me or does the potato or whatever it is leave a trail?
Capela’s a legit player. D’Antoni’s system helps but he’s worked hard to get where he’s at. Go to any Rockets game early and he’s out on the court working through drills while the other players are in the locker room. I don’t think any other player has improved as much as Capela has the last few seasons. And he’s only…
The Meme Team
I like Johnny Mac but he's always been prone to hyperbole. A fun thing to do while watching these vintage Fed videos is to ignore the ball and just watch his feet throughout each point. It's mesmerizing to watch
2006 Federer was magical.
Personally, I already think he’s the better all-around player than Nadal.
The semifinal was a testament to Novak’s mental strength. I actually thought Nadal was the slightly better player, but Djokovic was so clutch. Best rivalry tennis ever produced.
I think Djokovic passed Sampras on the ATG rankings today even with one fewer major. It’s crazy to think that the 3 greatest male tennis players were all active at the same time and competed against each other. It would be like the NBA having Lebron, MJ and Bill Russell all at the same time. I’m not sure something…
That was a great moment, but it wasn’t worth the wait. I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to tennis but I think they should change the format. Isner was doing nothing on return in the 5th and his only hope was for Anderson to implode. Keep things the same in finals but go to a 10 point tiebreak if it’s 12 all…
Justin Gimelstob had a very punchable face
Double break point and Isner hits two aces in a row. Of fucking course
