I don’t fully understand the new rule, I pretty much gave up on it when Posey was called safe at home because a catcher was standing partially in front of the plate before he had the ball. But if this isn’t a violation of the rule, it definitely needs to be fixed. As Andy Green noted, the feeling that you are

Actually he does. You don’t deserve to get hit for staring at a HR, but I’m completely fine with a guy getting his with a ball, if he’s going to hurt another player. If you don’t want to get dirty, don’t play dirty.

Yeah, Rizzo was outside the line until suddenly he wasn’t. You can literally see his path change drawn in the dirt where his foot dragged. Went completely out of the way to slam him and then had to fall back the other direction to land on the plate.

That video wasn’t a good angle. If they had showed more of an overhead shot of the play, you could clearly see that Rizzo veered to the left (which was to the front of home plate where the catcher was positioned) when he easily could have slid straight down the line or even towards the back of home plate. We already have pretty decent gun control laws, which you must remember, only apply to law-abiding citizens in the first place. Someone who wants to murder you with a firearm will find a way to

Do you really think this is a gun problem. If someone wants to do evil, they will get the gun they need by legal or illegal means.

To everyone talking about karma or in any way suggesting this isn’t a terrible thing:

Gee, it’s almost like I’m suggesting he get more run so we can find out if he is consistent or not.

That’s the joke. That I want an NBA player to die on the court. Yes.

Simple: he has money to burn but would like even more money to not burn.

Yeah, because I’m sure you donate all your expendable income to charity, right? :P

The public humiliations which have become standard procedure in reality television are deplorable. Only war criminals should be subjected to that kind of degradation.

It’s pretty offensive if Tyra made that joke to the actual child.
