He exaggerated the contact because he wasn’t going to catch up to his ball and made himself go down in the penalty box. It shouldn’t have been called a penalty in the first place and is definitely a dive. You even go and call the challenge soft and slight and the call boarderline so you’re just grasping at straws with

My two Shibas, Bean (brown) and Yura (black). They’ll hopefully be making many Shiba puppies in two or so years.

Oh, a non Billy article on soccer on deadspin? I might just have to read this sucker.

Here they were trying to channel Christ during the Costa Rica match.

Who would be better to say this? Donovan is too much of a puss to and there aren’t many former USMNT players still so invested in the game. I take Lalas over Landon to say something like this.

Give Bruce a break. He has to try to find Yogi half the time which cuts into scouting the national pool and tactics.

No worries, I’m just throwing out a team that isn’t on the list of teams Americans usually follow. They are rarely on NBC/NBCSN due to their low popularity stateside so I catch games on British radio feeds most of the time. I could stream the games but there’s something thrilling about being able to close your eyes

A lot of people are telling you to pick teams that all Americans seem to gravitate to. I’m personally a Burnley supporter (due to family being lifelongs since we are from the area not randomly stumbling across them). Anyways, they play in a stadium built in 1883 named Turf Moor and their colors are claret and sky

Type in caps more to get your point across. Goddammit, I wish Drew never did articles with random all caps words in it cause now everyone thinks it’s the “thing” to do to get your point across.

Didn’t need speed. That man had the balls to go over the middle to catch passes, even after breaking his jaw on a brutal hit while in AZ. Fitz was the glamour and Boldin was the grime of the prime of Arizona’s WR Corps. They balanced each out perfectly,

Yeah but their moments of fame come from killing another team’s supporters.

Don’t come to deadspin for accurate football takes.

He’ll become the Julian Green of La Liga

I like to think I root for them just because they are the hometown team and I’m “lucky” to have one when compared to places like Montana or Alaska or the Dakotas but my real reason is mostly because fuck the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants.

This is both due to their dumbassness to have a team for every goddamn Olympic sport and also Title IX for requiring they have the same amount of programs (if not more) for women.

That’s cool. There are already plenty of snakes on the property anyways. 🐍

The Ginger is a miracle worker and Defour looks to have gained his footing. Gray was piss port last year so they fact he was sold for £18.5mil is amazing! I’m looking forward to this season. But what do you expect from deadspin? Their niche is players getting hit in the balls and saying controversial shit.

You don’t know shit. Vokes was the better forward of the two. Hopefully Gray’s style can translate to the Premier League but last season wasn’t promising. Defour looked amazing in the first game and I have faith he will right himself after a terrible half a year last season.

Have faith! Gray was underwhelming last year and asking for too much money and everyone knew Keane was gone. Just have faith that the Ginger can find good replacements!
