Should a news publication be engaging in the dissemination of an “opinion” that is statistically, factually wrong?

I always wonder how conservatives are constantly shit-talking the “mainstream media” when there is A LOT of conservative representation out there. My fairly-large city has only 1 paper too and even though it’s a purple state, the paper is very far right. Like they don’t even pretend to be unbiased.
