What do you mean?

We get those types of movies all the time. People just ignore them and then complain that Hollywood doesn’t make the kind of films they like.

This is all so hard to accept. Power Rangers has been a part of my childhood since I watched reruns of the original show as a kid and my appreciation for the show’s legacy really grew thanks to Dino Thunder.

This is all so surreal. I grew up with reruns of the original MMPR show, the first two Power Rangers movies and Dino Thunder. It’s so strange imagining him gone. Rest in peace.

Yes, they would have.

Why do people who say this act like T'Challa only appeared in the MCU and nowhere else?

The Black Panther movie even states that it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the world catches up to Wakanda or even surpasses them.

Race swapping white characters into non-white ones isn’t holding back original poc characters. Having Heimdall played by a black man didn’t stop the MCU from having Falcon, War Machine, Monica Rambeau, Shang Chi and Kamala Khan.

The irony is that back in the day, people complained about how Bayonetta was objectifying women as some sort of sex symbol. Now, they’re mad because they think they can no longer objectify her as their sex symbol of choice (despite how there’s nothing to stop them from doing so).

Why do people think that speech reflects Tarantino's views on Superman. The guy saying this is a villain, for Christ's sakes.

How often do you think Hollywood writers actually like what they’re writing?

See also, Jim Carrey’s The Mask, the first two Blade movies or the first Ninja Turtles show (at least it was considered good when it first aired, even if it hasn’t aged well now).

She claimed they never even approached her. Now she’s trying to spin a very, very different story.

And, yeah, the fact that the article only mentions her as a “streamer”? Her primary income and profile would be that of a hardcore pornagraphic actress. Odd that wouldn’t be mentioned.

I’m amazed by how many fans who are usually very supportive of voice actors have turned on Taylor over this. People who treat stuff like Chris Pratt voicing Mario are basically turning her into a villain.

Being more famous doesn’t mean she can turn in a better performance.

She said something ignorant about vaccines once and apologized for it. Also, this isn't about Hale.

When has Kamiya acted like an asshole before this?

No, that was Michael Chiklis as the The Thing.

Jar Jar at least had the excuse of being an unfunny stereotype. Not that it justifies how the actor who played him was treated at all.
