Ironically Obama is the only reason Trump has anything to hang his hat as President.

The part that pisses me off to no end is that they are blaming Democrats for the ACA having troubles when REPUBLICANS (more specifically, Marco fucking Rubio) are the ones who kneecapped the legislation in the first place.

I think it’s more fair to say that during the Trump Administration then say Obama or George W. Bush because these days it really does feel like Trump is NOT a leader in his position. We have a President but we do not have a leader.

Nah, 2 years ago we would have been well into the second term of the president who caught Bin Laden, so “no leader on the throne” wouldn’t really fit.

False equivalence here.

That at least is an opinion I can respect. I disagree, because I find him interesting (depending on what they do with him in VIII, of course) but I can respect it. Rey being a Mary Sue is just an annoying meme started by a guy on Twitter who has a bunch of issues with women.

When you think this can’t get any better, you just remember all the hipsterish smugly haters who will cry “Mary Sue”, “Remake of ESB”, etc., and choke on the fact that the whole rest of the World will enjoy and love this, and it will make gazillions in the box office!

No hope required as she was never either of those things.

Rey was never a Mary Sue. She was a Skywalker.

“especially Idris Elba as the Man in Black.”

You’ve forgotten the face of your father, haven’t you?

This is a middle-budget production of a cult favorite. The fact that it hasn’t been marketed like it’s a Michael Bay production or a superhero blockbuster doesn’t mean it’s either an indie or a bad film.

Considering Spiderman: Homecoming trailers revealed nearly all the plot beats in the gosh darn movie before I even saw the thing, maybe Not Showing The Entire Movie Before I See The Movie is a good thing.

I get that this is a bit unusual, but isn’t it a good thing? It’s a problem that these tentpoles are so thoroughly displayed before their release; you can count on most major blockbusters nowadays to release complete synopses of the first two acts of their film, along with brief shots of the climax, months before they

sorry.

The Joker isn’t racist. Nor does he hate Jews. Also does not like Nazis. So yes #PresidentBannon is worse than the Joker.

Real simple

Of course we can tell the difference between the Joker and Bannon! The Joker is more patriotic and hates nazis like every other real American.

Now playing

Ellie and I had to guess whether the quote was from a villain like The Joker, or a guy like Steve Bannon,

[January 22, 2017: Donald Trump Jr. tries to slash a Jackson portrait in the Oval Office. Bannon blocks his box cutter with his cane.]

Well for starters, the Joker was much cleaner, well groomed and had much better fashion sense than Bannon
