It’s basically the best. I played it much earlier in alpha, and it was really good then. It’s only gotten better since. It’s one of those games where you start out doing everything by hand, and then slowly you build these massive machines that do everything for you. The progression is just intensely satisfying.

There were a LOT of things in GTA5 that made me want to throw the controller with anger at the way my time was so blatantly wasted. I completely regret going for 100% in that game.

Tried to add it to my cart, but it says it’s out of stock :(

Awww snap! I gave my son a GBA SP a year ago, and “loaned” him my copy of the original Mario’s Picross for Gameboy. He’s big into Pokemon, so no doubt he’d go crazy for this!

Man, I saw that button and I did NOT think twice. I mashed that sucker like it dispensed post-apocalyptic bacon. I don’t think I ever found the area it unlocks, but I walked away happy all the same.

You make it sound like Wasteland 2 hasn’t been finished yet... Do you know it’s out already?

There’s a lot of “dead space” on the map, and exploring it takes time and exposes you to various random bad things. Thus, it’s not unbelievable that something new showing up would go unnoticed.

The Telltale BttF game is really quite good. If you’ve never heard A. J. Locascio’s voice work, he’s a SPOT ON MJF impersonator:

I have a smaller one of these from Harbor Freight (it’s a common freebie, check the website or your flyer...) and I love it. I stuck it on the fridge, and I use it sometimes when I have to find something in the middle of the night.

Pretty much this. Trailers are marketing materials. We kinda expect that marketing materials represent the final product, and I think we’re understandably outraged when they don’t.

Yeah, I’ll play it. I like AQ and the Puzzle Quest formula, despite getting burned out with Marvel Puzzle Quest. Too many “character of the month/your roster is invalid if you don’t have this guy” type events in that game.

THERE ARE 6 STARS!

I had flashbacks to Katamari Damacy when that started. I can still hear that song and the song that plays at the studio even though I haven’t played it since yesterday! :D

Yeah, I had the same experience. I think hardcore strategy vets should bump it up to hard if they want a challenge. There were a couple of fights that got hairy, but by and large I made it through all the missions with tons of health to spare.

Possible spoilers ahoy...

GAH! I love the SaGa series (the original GB games were released as “Final Fantasy Legend” and sequels here in the US). There hasn’t been an English version in a loooong time... to see this makes me a Sad Panda :(

I realize it's not a direct comparison, but I'm reminded of the years I've spent as an "internet cop" - in several different roles, once as a Stack Exchange mod and a couple of times as leader of organized gaming groups.

This is by Robot Loves Kitty, right? The studio from Legend of Dungeon?

Uh, the two deals mentioned at the top are from October 30th of last year.
