Aside from the song being a hit favorite, it’s the whole scene. Singing in the car with friends, off key, saying the line to early, tripping over and tongue tying themselves trying to keep pace with the song, everything. It’s legitimately one of, if not the, most realistic and relatable moment in video game history.

I hope the open tournaments get air time next to the marquee titles, so everyone can see the dumpster fire difference between shoddy delay-based and good rollback netcode.

I have 12-4E feet. I basically can’t wear anything other than boots because no one makes special sizes. Otherwise i’d be all over those Federation sneaks.

Now playing

Calling this a “real, canceled game” is a bit much. This was what’s called ‘Target Game Footage’. Basically, it’s a CGI trailer styled to mimic what actual gameplay COULD be like. They’re used as pitches to convey a director’s ideas to the development team, as well as sell the game’s concept to the higher ups. This

Not to mention the Wii emulation and modding is damn near perfect. It’s been cracked wide open for everyone for years. The biggest breakthrough here would be the 64 source code, because those emulators are pretty bad even in 2020.

I haven’t, but I’ve been intrigued by how much Origins and Odyssey have moved away from the typical AC format and more into Action RPG territory. If this installment follows the same path, I might pick it up. Or Odyssey, depending on how well received Valhalla is.

Mainly streamlining the progression. A lot of ARR quests go

Well a side note is you never actually fight Sephiroth, but failed clones reacting to Jenova. But yes, the game gives 0 reasons to care about Sephy as a villain other than he is Cloud’s frenemy. The original didn’t either, aside from “He went crazy and wants planet to go boom”.

That is exactly how I felt. A friend said they NEEDED a big climactic ending, that ending it after the chase would’ve been weak. I get that, but literally turning the game into kingdom hearts and fighting a giant shadow that represents fate almost soured the whole experience for me.

A while back, last time they had the spicy Locos, they also had Loco Cheesy Gordita Crunches. The outer soft layer and cheese helped keep it together much better. The basic Locos are definitely bland, but the spicy actually had some flavor.

The always on is why it’s potentially so good. It’s deeply embedded into your computer on a kernel level, reading your files and executions. You can’t pre load any cheat softwares, or else it’ll detect it. It can also analyze programs that are running, reading how they’re interacting with other programs. It is, truly,

I wish that level of care on maki g fun relatable characters extended to the OG characters added to remake. They're all weird, kooky anime tropes dialed up to 11. Even against FF7s weirdness, they stand out like a sore thumb. Chapter 4 was pretty cringe at times thanks to motorcycle man.

Yeah. I understand and respect what Nintendo is trying to do: Marry the platforming game with the legos...

This is precisely why it’s being recommended for widespread use now. Many are asymptomatic during the initial stages of the coronavirus, it’s impossible to tell at a glance who has it and who doesn’t.

I was furloughed, then the restaurant shutdown. In the meantime I’ll start at Amazon Fulfillment, making a lot more than I did as a kitchen lead. Hopefully I don’t hate it, but I have nothing to do until April 1st...

Control would be a go to. It does a lot with lighting and particle effects. I’ve been holding off playing it until I upgrade my rig. The Total War games are also resource intensive, if 4x/RTS hybrids would be your jam. Those rely more on CPU than raw GPU, however.

That’s not entirely true. Trench warfare, in the sense of Barrage>Charge>Barrage>Charge, was only used widely in the first few years because it was highly ineffective. Germans single handedly pushed back allied trench lines in Europe through mobility and raid tactics. Allied forces then countered German trenches with

There is also a third? option that’s in between. You choose where to go, like blinking, but it actually moves you to that position. So imagine choosing cover, then as Alyx runs to that cover you’re able to fire or reload or whatever.

There’s a level in The Messenger dedicated to the Guardian Gods. They briefly mention they used to be heroes who protected the world until people stopped worshipping them and they lost power. That’s it.

But spending days fighting a single raid boss is what the end gamer players WANT.
