Yeah, I think the gripe of most people, and the rightful gripe of the NFLPA, is the lying about the effects of concussions—as well as the continued dickish waffling over “Durr, well, we just don’t know why a preponderance of our former players have brain damage. Durr, I only know sausage links, not causal ones.”

Plus he began his career with 5 years in New England, where he took 146 sacks in only 61 games. Old Schaefer/Foxboro Stadium had terrible turf too.

he wants the NFL to do what it can to start making football safer so the sport doesn’t disappear.

+1 Golden Calf or Bust

You’re telling me fans would rather you lose and put a worse player out there...

Also, Giraffe Neck and the rest of the Bears QBs.

I think the fact that he does not know or even care who the QB of the Jets is his exact point.

If the NBA has been more successful there, it’s not due to any courageous stand by the NFL in defense of human rights. If the NFL could have double their fanbase in China tomorrow, they would.

As a Chicagoan, I can safely say Bears fans are not tolerable.

Eli doesn’t feel pressure. He doesn’t even know where he is. If you asked him, he’d probably say something like “Outside.”

Women-beating is as American as sports gets along with bad officiating and PEDs! YOU CAN’T DISRESPECT THE FLAG IN GAWD’S CAWNTRY, SON!

Hey, hey, hey. Brock Ostrichweiler is not useless. History shows he comes with a second round draft pick.

Joe Mixon can break a woman’s jaw and get drafted but CK calls attention to serious societal ills and he’s shunned by the whole league.

The NBA has it’s problems, but it doesn’t make me feel gross in quite the same way the NFL does.

“Shit. I can buy my way out of cowardice, right?”

The continued unemployment of Colin Kaepernick—the first and most prominent and outspoken participant in last season’s national anthem protests—is an ongoing embarrassment for the NFL

The fact that NFL owners consider Colin Kaepernick to be a distraction but Richie Incognito to be a valuable on-field contributor tells you everything you need to know about the league.

I agree 100% with what Kaep stood (or knelt) for...but once he said he didn’t vote my mind just blew. I feel like, if he did vote, he wouldn’t be in this much of a predicament.

Speaking to delawareonline.com...

The only one I sorta get is Miami considering the dude is pro-Castro. Besides that, there is no (good) reason Dan Orlovsky has a job and he doesn’t.
