I live in Fresno, which is like the Deep South of CA. The farmers out here are offering $16 an hour for field labor and they still can’t find enough workers. Fear of deportation is really affecting the farmers’ bottom line out here. I doubt that will transfer to midterms. There’s some real rednecks out here.
