A Friend Called 5

The cat knocking over the Christmas tree is a sacred holiday tradition in my family. This lovable little fucker joined my feline brigade last year. His eyes tell the story of exactly how loudly I was screaming at him to get out of the goddamned tree.

Okay, why the hell did these people not stop the cat instead of taking video while their cat took down the tree? This seems like a bad decision.

Because so many people think movie theaters are their own personal living space and if something doesn't bother them it shouldn't bother anybody.

They aren't really lending us money. They are buying our credit. Those aren't exactly the same things. And getting someone to overextend their credit, then foreclosing, is an easy way to mess somebody up. So that 'lending' isn't such a great thing, actually. And it would be better if they stopped.

"Come at me bro" - Chinese ship

"Pandas Never Put Their Eyebrows Down" became our office phrase for years. Someone feeling blue? 'Remember, Pandas Never Put Their Eyebrows Down!'
Someone creates a bad layout? "Pandas Never Put Their Eyebrows Down!'
Here...may I contribute to your album cover art? You know...maybe Lisa Frank was kind of right...Panda sh

I am naming my band Rainbow Gulag and our first album will be called "Pandas Never Put Their Eyebrows Down".

My paternal grandmother ONLY wore Germaine Monteil's Royal Secret and to this day I wear it in the original formula as an homage to her.

I am hideously allergic to perfume and get migraine headachess when I wear anything but:
1. Chanel No.5,
2. L'air du Temps, Nina Ricci

Just bought a "sample pack" of a few Kenzo perfumes and I am LOVING Kenzo Amour so much. It's a really warm, sweet vanilla in the best way possible with notes of rice, frangipani, and incense. Though I've never been to one, I like to imagine that it's what a beautiful Hindu temple smells like. I've started spritzing

Another one of my favs is L'air du Temps. I love an eye-catching bottle!!!

Diorissimo. Anais Anais. Beautiful Sheer.

My first fragrance addiction (high school) was Heaven Sent by Helena Rubinstein.

Phew. Don't let ANYONE know about vintage Mitsouko. Please. I'm already finding prices creeping ever upwards on ebay....

Opium by Yves Saint Laurent and the Duran Duran b-side Secret Oktober would be the equivalent to a time machine to the early '80's for me.

My all time favorite perfume is Sun Moon and Stars by Karl Lagerfield. It's like jasmine and sandalwood in the best way possible, and it lasts forever....My mother wore for her entire life, and now it is my best link back to her.
