I only eat small batch top soil :(

I’m still not totally sure what’s going on with those handles at the front of the fenders.

Ford has stumbled into some profitable territory here. If it’s equipped with the 2.7 EcoBoost and/or the 5.0 coyote Ford is going to have a very good run.

Ah yes, Apollo 13, my favorite science fiction movie.

Not sure I agree with that. This thing appears to be the return of the origional Bronco design. The last few generations were simply F-150's with their beds chopped off. There is a lot of sentimentality over the original Bronco and prices of those have shot through the roof. So the demand, at least initially will

While the 5.0 does apparently fit in the ranger, the 2.7 Ecoboost would be a beast in this bronco.

The 325 hp 400 tq 2.7 Ecoboost would check so many boxes that you’d see tons of Wrangler owners migrate just for that. The 10 spd auto it's really nice as well.  If the 7 speed manual that's expected can be had as well, then Ford will sell so many of these.

This is true. And I’m sure Ford took that into account. You lose a vocal minority of rock crawl focused off-roading fanatics. But you gain a lot more customers who just want a great riding and performing vehicle and don’t need the small gains in rock crawling that a solid axle give. It was a smart move.

There’s talk that the 2.7 Ecoboost v6 will be available in the new bronco. That engine would be amazing in the new bronco.

Horsepower is going to be a variable here in the uptake. If the Bronco can punch above 310hp, I can promise you a substantial amount of wrangler owners will find themselves sneaking over the ford dealership.

Weird... I saw the pic and thought...

If Ford undercuts the (ludicrous) sticker prices on the current Jeep lineup, they’re going to have a huge winner here.

I’ve already seen a person on these very comment forums who said he traded his JL and bought a cheap used car in order to prepare himself for buying the Bronco. Granted that’s one, but I have to think there are more. Bronco lovers buy Wranglers because there hasn’t been a Bronco in years. The lack of a solid front

People buy Raptors, they’ll buy this.

Ford copying Jeep took way too long. Should be interesting—I’m shocked it’s taken this long. Friendly reminder that GM will follow up with some shitstain not called Blazer because they reserved that name for this

But a dustpan and broom...

Hard to be sneaky with a tow truck.

Had I not looked at the author, I would’ve legit thought someone stole one of David’s Jeeps.

Me reading the list

Also, this guy seems pretty adamant to replace everything that goes wrong.
