From a tdi owner 38 mpg is trash on the highway. All gas car mpg is trash you don’t buy a gas car for economy that is lunacy that we as Americans bought into for whatever stupid reason.

Longer wheelbase is also better for towing. I think the real question is why do you need a full size truck if you don’t need a full size bed?
