Bat Flips: Good

You mean the part where you suggest just making some new species? Fuck you.

I don’t see anywhere where you recognize the value of variety. Furthermore, all I see is where you devalue the historic value of species already in existence, or the whole point of conservation in general. Who are you, or I, or anyone, to say, hey, I saw a Wentworth Elm, so why do we need them around anymore?

Counterpoint: Bwahahahaha.

Edgar batted in a different time, in a different division, and a different stadium, with different hitters around him (Rodriguez and Griffey). Ortiz has historically been the guy in Boston (which is a lot colder than a domed Seattle), and faced a lot more hall of fame pitchers and AL East pocketbooks than the 90s

Countercounterpoint: Go O’s!

I can’t stop laughing at this.

You are the one thinking about fighting a six year old girl, not me.

Almost certainly #3.

Shittles: Taste the Asshole.

You aren’t exactly a fahkin peach either.

So put John Olerud’s velvet soft nugget in the Hall too.

I’m an Orioles fan. Also, Martinez was a hitter during a much more live ball era than Ortiz. The renaissance of the pitcher, IMHO, has been going on during a much larger portion of his career than Martinez’.

His career stats aren’t that much off of Martinez’, one. Two, Martinez had a few hitters named Griffey and Rodriguez during his career to precipitate more direct pitching at him. Sure, Papi had Ramirez, but not for his entire career. I’m not positive on the differential between them on time they actually spent playing
