The relevant box here to have the same suspension as the Carrera T is actually “PDCC with PASM Sport Suspension i.c.w. Rear Axle Steering” for $4,060 not PDCC with standard PASM... for $3,170. Unfortunately, with sport PASM you probably want nose lift on both cars lest you scrape the expensive bumper.

They don’t offer the seat because it doesn’t fit their intended purpose for the car. Just like you can’t get them in the turbo/turbo S. The Carrera T is intended as the lightweight sporty purist Carrera (aka mini GT3). The GTS is the top dog “gt” car that isn’t a turbo, yet still is a turbo.

Honestly, the seats make the car for me. We have them in our 991.1 GT3 and wouldn’t have the car without them. The GTS is great, but they aren’t much cheaper than a used .1 GT3 these days. Plenty of those around $130k, so really no reason to not just buy that. The Carrera T gets most of the same performance options

You will likely never see a 115k GTS. Add a minimum of $15-20k in options and you have your typical 911 that you will find on the lot. The reason to get a Carrera T is the GT3 buckets that weren’t specced on this one for whatever reason. Think of the T as an affordable GT3. Spec it with rear wheel steer and carbon

Caging my 944 made a 1.5-second difference to my lap time before and after on a 2:15 lap. So I would say the stiffness more than offsets the weight.

Yah what tires did it run? I’m willing to bet its on non-standard r compounds. Also whats up with that full roll cage? There’s absolutely no way they are shipping street cars with full race cages. I’d love to see a showroom stock version run like Porsche did with the GT2RS. I bet the results would be far different.

Definitely! The truck is 925ft/lbs and the C63 is 450 or so. The TDI is tuned to 180hp and 300 ish torque and is actually a blast to drive. Very peppy little car that gets 45mpg at 80mph.

2017 F250 Powerstroke, 2012 Golf TDI (Pending buyback), 2013 Cayenne S, 2010 C63 (tuned), 2003 Carrera Cab, 1989 944 turbo, 2016 GT3.

2615HP, 2881tq, 4 turbos, 44 cylinders, 29.1 liters. 7 vehicles

996 Turbo, W204 C63, MK7 Golf R, Stretch budget for a higher mileage 09 GTR. There are actually a couple manual transmission Cayenne GTS on market, which is probably one of the coolest enthusiast spec go fast SUVs around. This one ended a couple weeks ago, but there are others if you go hunting: https://bringatrailer.c

my league had set rules for the motors, and the top 5 finishers in each race had their engines torn down and checked for compliance immediately following the race, then reassembled and returned to the kart.

Porsche Cayman or 996. End discussion. Manual, RWD, and Porsche. also pretty reliable and reasonable to run.

Yes and no. I track my 996 Carrera and my 991 GT3, and the only thing difficult about them is the sheer speed you are entering corners. Once you get it through your head to get on throttle in situations where you might lift (oversteer), 911s are very easy to go very fast in. Giving them throttle mid slide can help to

PTS allocations are relatively difficult to get since they represent such a small percentage of allocations. We tried to get a PTS allocation for a 991.2 GT3 at our local dealer and were told that they all went to 918 VIPs. PTS is 10-12k on “GT” line cars and 5-7k on “normal” 911s. We got flat denied for a GT2RS

It’s a well known place to speed, and therefore an almost guaranteed speed trap. I see CHP every time I take the 73 these days.

I assure you the brakes are more than adequate.

I agree that they are completely useless.

no they aren’t. I have 2 911s and neither have flimsy cupholders (991 GT3, 996 carrera). They are small and useless, but not flimsy.

This is so true. As a young enthusiast who has been extremely lucky to drive a ton of really cool shit, until you’ve had that experience you have no idea what you’re talking about. I grew up racing karts so the driving experience always mattered, but until I had seat time in a ton of stuff, I wouldn’t have considered

his with the F30 M3 engine and a manual transmission would be game over for me. sexy bodywork, ok interior, and 450hp, whats not to like. Even the M2 motor would be great. It just needs to sound better then the 4cylinder in the 718 boxster.
