As far as I know, Handheld consoles DON'T do spec bumps (probably with the minor exception of the DSi). Spec bumps would lead to market fragmentation and, unlike the tablet/phone industry, I don't think that would fly with the gaming audience/market.

This adds new ports. It won't affect the Vita's functionality or power. It just adds new ports. I haven't read the whole patent application but I don't think they'll be bumping any specs. Doing so would fragment the user base and it would NOT be good for the handheld.

I need that Walter White figure @.@ along with that awesome bobble head...dammit, I need everything BrBa related!

If that 99% includes Clannad then I'd be happy if KS got an enjoyable garbage adaptation.

Oh, I haven't watched K-On but, if I'm not mistaken, Hyouka has the same art style right? Even if it's the same art style, at least it's a gorgeous and well-done one, right? :) Though I do agree that a mix-up in visual style would be good. I thought I wanted KyoAni's style on pretty much everything, then I watched

I actually can't think of any other title now that you've planted that in my brain o_o

Touchpad's a bit different though since it has no screen. It's kind of like a laptop's. It might work for some games. AC3:Liberation for Vita did quite a good job turning something that was very easy (pickpocketing) into something that had more gameplay.

Agreed, specially with the use of the term "Katawa"...too bad since the plot was actually good...and I'd love to actually see Rin acted out. They should just rename it to something more romantic and melodramatic (well, not really).

I liked Hyouka and Clannad :( Kanon and Air were a bit meh though (even though I liked Air's latter half specifically the last 3 episodes). Haven't really seen that many though so there might be some negative connotation I'm not aware of...

Haven't done Lilly and Shizune yet :( I vote that they do 5 seasons of it since the scenarios are all pretty much different from each other xD

This is great news! I loved Frozen Synapse's brand of strategy and having it on the Vita will be really great.

Yes, yes...KS's domination of the world has begun...all it needs now is an anime adaptation by KyoAni...preferably having Rin as the main love interest, ensuring the victory of the feminist conspiracy...

Noooo! I thought it was March :< at least it won't coincide with my final examinations...

I think they perfected handheld aiming with the addition of gyro aiming. I've tried the demo for Uncharted and Gravity Rush and it works wonderfully. Back touch could work for more immersion. Probably something like putting your finger on the back touch while sniping to determine stability? There's a lot that can be

It's actually used in great ways in some games :) DJ Max had a pretty nice use for it. And, some will argue against this but, I also enjoyed pick pocketing in AC3L with the back touch.

Congratulations! xD This post also piqued my interest in the game so I guess that's a success :)

He'll probably do Battlestar Galactica and Firefly next.

I got the Vita because I put a lot of trust in Sony's first party developers. That's something I think the Android scene won't have for quite some time.

To each his own, I guess :) Even though I like them, I can see how they can be off-putting to others.

I think visual novels (I've actually only read/played just one) are more like choose your own adventure types of things than whatever you are imagining. It's like you're saying that you'd rather go on a ship to an island and dig for treasure than read Treasure Island.
