Watertown, MA had one for a long while. Moved recently.

Is the AWD as crappy as the Charger? Catches you about a second *after* you really needed it to?

Can we stop saying “after a tune” when it’s really “after a tune, a new intake, exhaust, downpipe, cat delete, larger turbo, new heads, engine swap, and a minor change to the local laws of physics”?

“2014”

Nope. Trying to test drive a WRX was hit or miss by dealers, with some literally not willing to do a drive until you’d put money down. Not the best decision, but they stay in business selling the rest of the line.

“Dunno, how little can you afford to sell this for? I’ll take that price.”

Someone needs to ‘shop a pair of super big gulps into those holders.

Now playing

Yup, sometimes. I use it for entering new navigation destinations. Infiniti’s voice-recognition system is pretty decent, or it lets you select things from the center stack if you have the attention to spare.

H2 is not a fuel source. It is an energy carrier, just like a battery. It has a better energy density than modern batteries, both volume (and mass. Think of a hydrogen fuel cell as a big battery that can be recharged in 4 minutes.

Why aren’t they brave enough to move the gear selector? It’s even less important in an electric car, and this is absolutely prime real estate for storage or controls.

I’m trying to comprehend you driving a WRX on public roads at 10/10s. Yeah, you can go WOT but...taking a corner at the limits usually meant 2-3x the speed limit, and that was in my ‘02.

For a F-150, maybe?

I owned one for a year. It was a LOT of fun to drive, completely tossable, turned on a dime (with tons of body roll), and enough pickup to get to...well, 30. Past that, you had to be realistic.

So the engine itself would not fit inside the Mini’s entire body? That’s crazy!

Sure. The Fiat 500 was terribly fun to drive. (And not the Abarth, either!)

Would it physically fit in the shell? with room for the driver, too?

That’s the hood release. (At least, the tiny button popped open the hood on the 70s-era toy...)
