The best thing to come out of Transparent was this eviscerating review of Jill Soloway’s book by a trans woman. She depicts Soloway as a clueless, privileged, self-centered writer, with enough eyebrow-raising quotes to power a small town for a year.

What a wholly unlikeable group of characters is a painfully unfunny program.

It’s interesting how far off of the rails these early streaming hits end up going. Shows like this and House of Cards kept coasting long after anyone cared and ended up doing...things. 

Why were the numerous emoluments violations not enough to start the proceedings? It’s not as if he was running a squeaky clean administration until this moment.

Everything bad they expose about Trump and what he has done will be blunted because Trump and the Republicans will have Hunter Biden and his absolutely 100% corrupt job to point at. Republicans can make a non issue look bad. They are going to have a field day with Joe Biden’s crack smoking failson who gets giant…

And Pelosi played this terribly. Going all in on the Ukraine situation without knowing the facts, when Mueller and emoluments were right there all along.

Hmmm. Lose conservative Democrats who would throw people under the bus where it matters most in districts they’re slowly (or not so slowly) losing anyway, or... potentially set a dangerous precedent for future corrupt Presidents thereby allowing propagation of such actions for decades to come by staking everything on…

It would be nice if she did something.  Anything.  What is her grand plan?  She insisted she be the House Majority leader and she did jack shit with it.

Forcing the GOP members to go on record supporting him in a massive landmark vote before the election would make more sense then doing nothing.

That, and the fact that she’s just not as progressive or charismatic as, say, Sanders or Warren.

If he gets voted out, there can be criminal proceedings then.

Pelosi is wrong. There is NO EVIDENCE that impeachment would “alienate” any in-play voters. There’s quite a bit of evidence it would motivate the voters Democrats want.

This is why Nancy and Chuck both should stand trial as accomplices to Trump’s crimes.

They will never show the vote totals because they vote totals will make them look like stupid corrupt assholes.  

The response from WFP is basically, “How dare you question how this all went down when our leadership is [insert identity groups here]? Oh, and by the way, internet randos are getting all up in our mentions, so it looks like this answers any and all questions about the vote tallies!”

The attacks are gross, but it is damn suspicious that they changed their methods to ones that essentially give leadership total control of the endorsement and refuse to release the actual vote count. That doesn’t justify attacking them on racist grounds.
