It wasn’t Russians. There has been a long, several decade, history of republicans smearing the Clintons. That’s why some many on the right can believe shit as insane and ludicrous as her being a literal pedophile or satan worshipper.

That is not vague assertion. That is cold hard fact.
Considering the wide divide they had in terms of policy, and the fact that he actually tried pushing a liberal agenda rather than a moderate one, I feel like her critiques are wildly misplaced. Trump was gonna be Trump. The book sounds as much like a hit list as anything, and no one in the party is particularly happy…
“Meanwhile, if you want to talk about black turnout, there was always going to be a drop off post Obama, that was inevitable”
Yeah, no... Neither Reagan nor Bush Sr. were ever a major party’s candidate for President before they won. Sure, you can run in a primary and lose. Clinton herself did that. But the general election? There’s only been 3 examples since the Civil War - Nixon, Stevenson, and Bryan and only one of those were…
She’s also in a unique position to recognize the Democrat party is, at best, on the ropes and her not insignificant additions to that state. Adding more fuel to the Clinton/Sanders war doesn’t help.
Hillary blew this election, not a few hundred people on the internet dumbass. She got fewer PoCs and women than Obama. But enjoy the sinking ship.
Hey since you are so whiny and upset about “random slob” can you maybe now understand why racist Hillary Clinton calling black children “super predators” cost her the election? Why did you awful Clinton supporters vote for such a racist if you pretend to care so much about sexism? I mean your racist voting…
All that was proven was that a Hillary fan was abusing the word sexism to shut down criticism, which was real surprise. And yet you’re still denying the obvious, which is that Bernie Sanders is the most popular American politician according to several polls.
Please, show me the bingo squares. I’m sure you have a comprehensive list of what I believe, kneejerk commenter.
Uh no, he definitely is the most popular politician in America. And he’s been having townhall meetings across America about Medicare.
Twenty+ years of GOP hate and the fact that it’s proven impossible for the Democrats to win a third term in the WH in modern times had way more of an effect than Comey and Russia. Nominating someone who had been smeared by the right for decades to run in an election that would have been an historical win for the Dems…
If you think only ‘Bernie diehards’ have a problem with this than you’re not paying attention.
Nope, I’d been reading dumb takes about Hillary being the Queen Bee Slay all election, and did a quick google for examples of what I meant.
I don’t think that Sanders specifically goes after Clinton in his book though. In fact, from the sounds of it, his book is framed as a “what do we do now?”, whereas Clinton’s book seemed framed as a“what went wrong” in which she blames Sanders, Obama and Trump. I can definitely see that being a much more divisive…
Unless the rest of the book is a mea culpa about the many ways she spectacularly fucked her own campaign up—including how she deliberately attempted to torpedo Sanders’ campaign—I’d say she hasn’t learned a damn thing about what happened last November.
I don’t think Velocirapstar has ever been a die hard Bernie fan. In fact if you read what they wrote they very clearly like Clinton, and wish she would be more active politically as a way to use her years of political knowledge to help the democrats in 2018 and 2020. He’s lamenting that she’s reppin’ a book instead.
I don’t begrudge her for it, but if she really is blaming Bernie for her loss—to Donald Goddamn Mothafucking Trump—than she needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror before before she writes her next book.
Uh, it’s not the ‘mere presence’ that is the problem. It’s that she is dividing the party further by outright blaming Bernie for her loss. He challenged her in a primary, that’s what happens. She is literally the only candidate in recent history who has complained about having to be primaried. If anything, Bernie…
