But did you already love Holland to begin with and were super excited to see this film and weren't initially disappointed by a lot of the choices made going in? Because that's where I'm at right now. I'm currently more excited for that animated Spidey coming out in theatres next Christmas. But I'm willing to give this

Dammit. I'm late again.

Good point. I guess I stopped counting them since it's a step down from their much more comprehensive coverage. But coverage is coverage. Especially when fewer and fewer are doing it these days

You're not gonna believe me but the trailers actually made it look like this could be the first one I'd truly like. Same with the reactions from the usual fans of the films. But instead it's a frustrating movie with a lot of interesting elements that apparently very few people like.

Seems a lot of sites are running similar or near identical "best of… So far" lists. But there's also not a lot of sites that talk much about comics at all anymore. Is that scene ever gonna come back or is this just the state of things til whenever the next state of things comes along?

As I mentioned earlier, I recently saw Baby Driver. It got me thinking though, are there any comics that are particularly impressive with their usage of music? Any picks and/or recommendations?

Heyo!

No. I’m pretty bored by the idea of this new film. Especially since they seem to be wasting Damage Control as a mostly throwaway plot element. But also because I’m not at all taken by Tom Holland. He seems serviceable but like he’s not this character-defining powerhouse performance. But fans seem to love it. So that’s

This is one huge reason I'm baffled by the insistence of so many people to make Spidey a big screen character. Because he would thrive on television in a way many heroes just can't. Nobody actually cares about Spidey saving the city or the world, they wanna know if he can stop Doc Ock from killing people on the bus

All Star is nowhere near as inaccessible as it's often made out to be. For many people new to Superman it's exactly what they think they want out of Superman. And whether it actually is or whether they just don't feel like wading into the mire of comics to see what else is there is beside the point. In their

Happy Birthday!

Although it's not my favorite, my pick for definitive Superman is none other than 22 Stories About Superman from that Superman Adventures run Millar did. Seems to get exactly what people want out of a Modern Age Superman.

Hiyo! What's the best way to keep in touch, friend?

Worked with the editor of that comic. All good people on AR. Glad it's still going strong. I should catch up on Harpy Gee.

Where do you go for webcomics if you read any at all? There's a few collectives and designated sites. Like DrunkDuck and Smackjeeves are still running. But places like Tapastic and Line Webtoon are gaining a lot of popularity. And there's still other places like Hiveworks and SpiderForest. Not to mention usual haunts

Heyo!

For dry cough? Unfortunately no. I've had chronic cough for years and I have no idea how to deal with it at all.

That new Black Panther trailer has had me more excited for any superhero film than I've been in ages. What are some great trailers for comic-based features/tv shows that completely or at least mostly delivered on your expectations? (Let's keep this positive and put the focus on media that actually delivered and not

Heyo!

Too true.
