I couldn't make it because of work here in Minnesota. 600 dollars down the drain. And apparently only half my books sold anyway. Near total loss.

Why do you get such huge batches of days off? Is it a rotating schedule thing?

I've never been to Vancouver but I love Seattle. I hear it's really different now though. Last time I went was nearly 20 years ago and people keep saying it's lost a lot of its personality.

I now only want to go to Denver to check out their light rail system. I have no other reason to go now that I'm no longer doing conventions and don't know anyone there.

Oh. I KNOW Cinema Wasteland. Total amateur horror fan in my teens. Rust Belt has such a thriving scene it's simply amazing. Just hundreds of low budget horror films from hidden gems to weird trash. I love it. I think it's part of why I'm so lenient about "flaws" in cinema.
