A lot of comments here suggest that women simply aren't into the Adult Swim brand or that the entire network is objectively unwatchable garbage. But from what I've seen and experienced there's a lot of women and viewers in general who are on its exact wavelength.

That actually sounds quite rad. I hope that works out for you. I know a lot of Danny Phantom fans who'd love that. I think there's a lot to be made of those character and that world.

I just don't even think about retirement plans. That stuff fills me with dread.

What is this thing that you want to read? I really gotta know.

Hmm. Might not be able to read it this month then. Maybe I can go to a cool bookstore and read it though.

Thank you!

"A series of supernatural noirs centered on the legend and legacy of Motley Crue". I'm not much into Motley Crue but that's one heck of a hook.

Whoa, the big day is finally here. I feel like it's been a long time coming too. Here's hoping everything goes off without a hitch and that you have a great time on the West Coast. Glad to hear that stress is winding down too.

Has anyone here heard of FallCon? It's apparently a Twin Cities comic convention, but I can't find too much about it because it's overshadowed by the identically named FallCon in Calgary, Alberta and a long-running sci-fi convention in Minneapolis sporting the same name.

I hope I can find it at either Hennepin or St Paul's libraries. I've really been wanting to read this whole thing.

I have a place to stay. But at the moment I'm functionally homeless. So I can't open any bank accounts or get mail or anything. But it'll probably be alright. Thanks for your concern though.

Things might be turning around here in the Twin Cities. I might be closing in on a place. I'm still more than a little depressed and the place I'm staying now is kinda beyond gross.

I couldn't get ahold of it. I still lack a library card and all three copies in the system had multiple holds on them anyway. I'd still like to re-read it soon though.

Lately the Twin Cities have been an absolute disaster. I'm still homeless and any decision I make from this point forward would be absolutely terrible. Just some of those decisions will be less terrible than others. I have the option to give Chicago a go, but I doubt it'll be any easier than here. And if I go home I'm

I used to spend hours at the local Borders. I'm not even sure why I liked it more than B&N. It may have been nothing more than the fact that it was right inside the mall instead of across the street. But it just felt like it had a more accommodating atmosphere.

What's the doc about?

Yeah, being in Minneapolis is so much better. Public transit didn't even come within an hour of where I lived during the weekends.

I've never seen Phantasm but have always wanted to. I hear the Remastered edition is THE way to be introduced to it if you're new to the series. I'm hoping I can catch it sometime.

I've been told that I could get away with MCD's Kingpin and I like that idea. Just gotta get over the mental hurdles. But there are far less of them then there would be for like Steven Universe

Believe it or not, I can't wear costumes. I always feel silly in them. Even as a kid I was wondering, "What is this? People can see right through this charade!" (well maybe not the charade part, I was 6). But yeah. I'd love to do costumes, but I have deep-rooted self-consciousness issues that go all the way back to
