I may be overselling it since I live in Toledo. But trust me it's definitely worth a visit. We just got a new aquarium too.

I didn't know it was a real song until fairly recently. Frankly I prefer the version used in the show.
Lex's Theme was pretty much the only one I liked from the BvS score too. I liked how it almost functions as a quirky riff on Supes's theme that's slowly pulling itself apart at the seams.
Speaking as an Ohioan myself I'd say Toledo has a surprisingly good zoo for a city of its size.
I never finished Promethea. I think I lost the first volume in Wyoming nearly ten years ago. I should give it another spin sometime.
That does sound pretty awful. Having been exactly in the same place myself I can say that I totally feel for you. And I hope you're able to get back to writing soon.
I somehow completely forgot that you're getting married soon. A belated congratulations on that one.
I'm not citing those examples as what instigated their hirings. Or even cite those as examples at all. But since we're bringing them up, they do seem to time the announcement of these things only after there's nearly a scandal about their handling of diversity. Though I can see how my choice of language doesn't read…
Not only are you the first person I've come across that remembers "The Norm Show" you've also reminded me of the original opening. The one that tends to stick in my mind was the board-game intro from Season 2.
They have small dedicated fanbases from what I've seen. I feel like a big part of them falling out of the zeitgeist has to do with the fact that Disney hardly reran them after they ended. Outside of showing up at odd hours on Toon Disney, which few people even received, you'd be hard-pressed to come across them.
I heard one of the reasons they went with those designs was because it would be fairly easy for kids to draw them too. Which I felt was fairly thoughtful on their part. But I'm not partial to them either.
Due to my bizarre fear of butterflies and moths I can't watch Star vs. The Forces of Evil. But I appreciate what it does and I'm very glad it's on television.
The second half or EMH was rough though. I blame the major changeups in the writers' room. It's still my favorite Marvel show. I even like it more than Spectacular Spider-Man.
My mind always goes back to Spinneli from Recess and THEN Bobby Hill. But then third is Marcie from Californication. I'm not sure why either. I only ever watched one season of that show.
Most of the people I know are mixed to negative on Guardians of the Galaxy. So it's almost like whiplash to go on the Internet and see the complete opposite take.
I recently went through a stressful bureaucratic process myself. The "need more information" letters are things I never want to see again. Still wishing the best for you.
I just remember a Tom Strong comic where they briefly mention a city full of science-heroes on the West Coast.
Zot does have a pretty great future. Though I wonder how one would adjust to living in 1999 for the rest of time.
I REALLY need to read Multiversity.
Supporting cast in the Silver Age would be kinda fun though. Lot of terrible things happen but a lot of fun things too. Also you're pretty much guaranteed to stay alive.
