I think I'd probably be a normie in Opal City. Though it seems like terrible fates don't befall as many civilians there as they do in a lot of other DCU cities. And Opal City is gorgeous too. Not a bad place to wanna live.

I really need to read some Captain Marvel comics. I've always meant to but never have. But it seems like it would totally be my speed.
Something I've never been able to figure out: is Top Ten the same universe as Tom Strong or are they set in separate parallels with just enough similarities between the two of them?
I can actually get ahold of this one pretty easily. Daytripper was harder so I had to dip out of that one unfortunately.
There doesn't seem to have been a ton of research done for that one. But I'm fine with that. I'm surprised they chose here in the first place. I'd love to do a one-shot in that universe.
The heat's broken here too. It now regularly gets cold in the house because the AC is stuck on the temperature we had it on during the heatwave.
That DOES sound like high praise.
It's bigger than anything I accustomed to at least. It seems like it's all relative though. I remember meeting people who thought of Toledo as "the big city" because they came from tiny towns with a few hundred people in them.
What's the website about?
Drink-and-draws sound like so much fun. Even if a person doesn't drink or draw. And I hear you on that dating thing. I've never even been on a date before and I feel like I just need to get away from continuing my attempts for a bit. Or forever. And that goofy-ass idea might lead someplace great. Some of my best stuff…
Not a Debbie Downer at all. That sounds like an overwhelming situation. But you seem to be mostly handling it like a champ. Here's hoping everything pulls through for you.
I give a pass to Chulk. Having recently spoken to Pak, it seems like a story he actually wanted to tell himself and not just an editorial mandate. He was probably spurred on by the fact that for whatever reason almost anyone who can even be construed as having a close tie to Hulk becomes some sort of gamma being or a…
Picking up the ball on this one: Marvel seems more interested in pursuing diversity for PR reasons than actually seeking diverse voices for their stuff.
If you could live in any comic book universe which would you choose?
This includes adaptations.
I'd personally avoid any Marvel related universe because of all those dang incursions. But if it weren't for those I'd be up for living in the Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man universe. It just seems so chill there even though…
Finally heading to Minneapolis at the end of next week. I'm nervous as heck. I've never lived in a large city before. Toledo doesn't count. It's never had over 350k people the entire time I've lived here. I'm hoping I can hack it in the big city.
I'm not sure why but this just didn't click for me. I really really wanted to like it but everything felt kinda off and even kind of boring. It actually pains me to write that. I much prefer the 2001 live-action series and the 1994 cartoon.
Hope you have a fantastic time.
I'm also thinking of my next comic script. I'm trying to figure out which story to choose. It's been hard. A lot of stuff I would've chosen would come off as derivative due to poor timing. Sigh.
I'm not sure I could totally cut carbs but I think I could reduce them a fair bit and eat more proteins and veggies. I wish I liked fruits that weren't bananas though. It's a real stumbling block for me.
How do you manage that eating thing?
