I remember it being canon (But also not canon) with the 90s live-action films.

I didn't realize there was an "other" Free Comic Book Day. I'm definitely going to have to check this stuff out!
i wonder what's gonna happen to the Turtles now that their newest movie underperformed, the ratings are slipping on the show and people are generally moving on from them.
The Great Brain Robbery stands out as a hilarious episode with real stakes. Something that I've seen is a rare feat.
Yep, just edited the comment and posted a link!
I know my library system has an Adult Summer Reading program, but I've got a $50 fine there still. I should just pay it down because they always have pretty good comics in the system and I'd like to take them home to read sometimes.
Congrats to your daughter!
I've never been to a baseball game before. I should probably do that too. We have the most famous minor league team that isn't the Durham Bulls.
I understand that worry having been out of real work for years, I'm always fretting the career stuff and how I can make a living. Here's wishing…
Justice League Unlimited or Batman: Brave and the Bold. They just really scratch that itch for me.
I finally launched my first crowdfunding campaign yesterday and it seems to be going swimmingly. It's a comic/illustration/prose anthology about exploring stories about space that aren't so heavily rooted in war and imperialism narratives. It's called Enough Space For Everyone Else.
Citizen Brown is much more consistent art wise and the most recent cliffhanger has me hooked and wanting to see what happens next. It does less of the self-referential thing and seems way more interested in exploring the further connections between Doc Brown, the Tannens and the McFlys and even the Stricklands. Its…
There's so few people I know of who give credit to the 2003 run of Ninja Turtles. And I think that's a shame because it's such a fun show and I think it's more consistent than any other non-comic version I've seen.
Back to the Future I read a bunch of these the other day and they're pretty entertaining, even if they seem a bit too self-referential. The art can get more than a bit dodgy at times too. It seems to switch artist on per page basis every so often. But it's charming and witty though not as much as the original films.
I really really gotta try this. I've been meaning to ever since I saw you doing it.
I really should use it for that. But I still need to get a tablet first. It's such a chore to read it on my MacBook. Tablet's 100% the only way to go.
You're actually one of those two friends I mentioned further up.
I can talk comics with just about everyone I know because almost everyone I know makes (or has made) comics either as a hobby or professionally. I just sort of stumbled into that sort of circle. Problem is most of these people aren't folks I get to hang out with IRL. Unfortunately for me I don't have any local friends…
I'm only familiar with Jaime Reyes through other media. I have yet to read his actual pre-New52 run. Though I know I absolutely should. It seems like exactly the kind of thing I'd love. (And exactly the kind of thing I'd write).
There's a distinct lack of wonder in Lumberjanes that bothers me. Everyone's so self-aware of the type of story they're in that nobody ever stops and marvels at how cool, weird and wild everything and everyone around them is. I tend to love it when the fantastic is portrayed as mundane but I guess I don't really like…
I haven't read Giant Days but you make a very good case for why I should.
The resolution's pretty good on my 2011 MacBookPro. No idea what it looks like on a retina display though.
