Damn that is a great point, and makes me even more mad that all of the smartest battle minds and most experienced White Walker fighters are all there, yet the strategy seems to be lacking. 

Agree, good episode and some much needed breathing room, reminders, and strategy.

I know, I know, Jon or Dany are the obvious choices, but it still would be cool! And subvert the expectations which this series likes to do.

Hmm maybe, but this show tends to subvert our expectations for what people deserve.

The point of her leaving Braavos was that she wanted to be Arya and not No One, so I am hoping at least her loyalty to her family keeps things more balanced. But she should not become some kind of weird happy Arya, it would undermine her journey IMO.

She was in the Great Hall for a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo.

Yeah good point, others have pointed it out too and it makes sense - and I love me some callbacks - it just doesn’t have a lot of suspense for us viewers for the next episode.

Fair point...I guess it felt different with the Dothraki, the Unsullied, Slaver’s Bay - she clearly gave people cause to follow her (even if it was just, “I’m magic bitches”). She has done no such gesture in the North. (Yet...?)

I agree about Dany, she seems to be more offended that people don’t immediately love her than concerned and looking for ideas to win their trust.
