Replying to degray you...I think you meant to reply to the main article. :)

That third one is epic. Bring it on, Jack.

Menzies and Heughan should get all of the awards for this. Balfe too, of course, but every scene in that cell was heartwrenchingly terrible, which is actually a tribute to their performances.

I totally agree, and I also can’t wait to see who they cast next season. Assuming they're structuring the show the same as the book...

Ugh. That second to last gif. Gutted.

Hungover Jamie deserves love, but adorable drunk Jamie is the adorablest.

I thought it was a sweet moment, but didn’t connect it to the vase thing until I read your comment! Even more lovely with that context.

Nope, you’re not the only one!

Haha, yes, Jamie is the right answer. But the other perspective I’ve heard is, why the hell would she choose to stay when such a terrible series of events has happened to her? (The answer is Jamie, but has the show made their relationship (not just the sexytimes) that compelling?)

Lotte Verbeek totally made this episode.

I’ve been doing recaps on Sundays which I post on the Observation Deck, if you want to stop by...

(My parents were leaders in the Boy Scout troop, so I had an excuse.) Then, we started a Venture Crew as we got older, and went

I know! Especially with Black Jack wandering the Highlands. Where in all of these clothes can I hide small bladed weapons? Load me up!

Nice recap! I thought they were going to end the episode with Claire being carted off to Ft. William, her fate much more ambiguous, but nope - terrible Black Jack and then BADASS JAMIE! Love that they ended on a f-yeah moment.

Literally.

In the book it's a little different - Claire actually tries to signal to Jamie NOT to interfere so that she can make with the surprise attack. But he (and she) still feels like he failed to protect her.
