@Pzychotix: I don't think Blizzard did it the right way, I think they 'sold' it the right way.

@Nasdaf: Wait wait wait. Starcraft 2 is out!? :P

@tetracycloide: Agreed. It's a public space, a public domain, and should fall under fair use laws. If anything, I imagine this will put Siena on the map to Westerner's who didn't know about it.

@cassiebearRAWR: A good example of this is PS3 gamers getting Mass Effect 2, without ever having the ability to port characters from ME1—which was a PC and 360 exclusive.

@Sweatypitts: As a counterpoint, look at MAG. The player base is virtually split 33%/33%/33% between the three factions.

@Rampage: I use a combination of demos, screenshots, and metacritic for some of my buys.

@Goobyman: I LOVED LOVED LOVED Fallout 3. Honestly, my only complaint was, as a Washingtonian, some of the neighborhoods were in the wrong location. I found that odd that a studio based in Bethesda, MD, would get that wrong.

@Rob Heath: I think the staffers use this to get a pulse of what the community is talking about. I think it's fun.

It's weird, but I'm a Nexus One user who came from a iPhone 3G. Honestly, it's night and day. Both operating systems are great, but I love how open, how modable, how 'geeky' Froyo is.

Anyone else remember this failed abortion?

@StabbingHobo: I guess the point I'm trying to make is, I've always seen Treyarch as a sort of kid brother to IW: they're always riding on IW's successes.

@RockyRan: To be fair, it's Infinity Ward's engine.
